OK product
By John Puccetti
The picture in Amazon shows a dial thermostat on the unit. The spec's clearly say there is no remote thermostat. I got that. But the picure shows switch/ thermostat on the unit( not remote). There is no switch or thermostat with the unit. The company has failed to contact me with my concerns. Based on the lack of costumer service I would not use this company again.

Simple and reliable
By RenaissanceMan
The review above is wrong, or the listing has been updated. This heater comes with no thermostat, which is what I wanted since I wanted to mount a separate programmable line voltage thermostat to control it. The same manufacturer makes a version with a simple built-in dial thermostat but this isn't it. This unit replaced an identical unit that failed after perhaps 15 years or so of service in an RV. Can't beat that reliability.
