5A sapphire for my wife
By Kenneth L. Jordan, Jr.
When my wife and I first met she had a sapphire ring, which got lost. It has been many years and I thought that I would try and find her a ring to replace the one that she lost. Amazon had an advertisement for a line of jewelry that they were carrying. I started to look through their line when this ring caught my eye. I purchased the ring and its beauty is second only to my wife.

3love it
By debdw
Had 2 handsets for this phone initially, and they would wind up all over the house since none of the family wanted to use any other one. Easy to find with the flashing tip on the antenna and the page. We've grown to like the audible caller i.d. also - keeps us from jumping up unless we need to.

5Great Value!!
By Sean Mears
This wrench is an exceptional value. The range of adjustment is awesome. I would have had to pay at least three times as much to get a comparable tool from anywhere else. I freaked out at first because the package said 50-250 ft/lb, but after actually looking at the wrench I discovered that the listing is accurate. The wrench is accurate too I compared it to my neighbor's S**P-ON and it was right on!

4Good value for the money
By Igor
Wrench seems to be good value for the money. Torque is consistent with my Menards 150Ft-Lb torque wrench. Successfully used this wrench to tighten front axle nut on Accord (180 Ft Lbs). Planning to use it for crank shaft pulley when timing belt replacement time comes. It is also easier to tighten lug nuts (80 Ft Lbs) with this wrench instead of smaller 150 Ft Lbs one. The reason I gave 4 stars is ratcheting direction switch broke when wrench was used in reverse. That axle nut was incredibly stubborn though. Was only able to loosen it with Snap-On impact. Seller replaced wrench for free.

3good wrench
By K. Collins
While I havent gotten a chance to use this wrench. It looks to be built pretty decent. I like how on the adjustable ft/lbs, it has a lock to keep it from slipping out of the desired torque setting.

5A little better than basic.
By Lilu Tule
I attended school for apparel design, so I know that this form does not compare to the profesional wolf forms or superior model forms that range from 300-1000$.Basically, if you are like me and have a symmetrical form and are relatively built like a dress form and are not intending to do a strenuous amount of sewing for professional reasons (unless this is to bide your time in the start up phase of a business), then great! You can probably go with one of the cheaper models out there. However, remember that this model has a wonderful natural. more realistic hip section and mid section and separated leg area which makes it available for getting the hip area of pants correct. It also has a longer support pole, to keep your garment off the ground, or if you are tall. It is steam-able, rotates 360, and pinable. Remember to use a bra on the form that you intend to wear with the garment you are constructing. This will really help especially with strapless ensembles. If you have a hard to replicate form, such as enlarged midsection, uneven shoulders, etc, consider a My Twin Dress form which is created to your specific body shape.Otherwise, the my double deluxe works well enough for me.

2Not the most sturdy dress form
By M. Susan Lyons
Initially I thought the base of the stand was constructed oddly, but it's surprisingly secure. I don't have many worries about the form tipping, which is the main concern I've sent mentioned with other dress forms. Another good point is that unlike most dress forms which have one adjustment knob for each measurement (hips, waist, bust)there are four ajustments points for each: front, each side and back. This would allow truer measurement - if you are more full in the rear for instance.Unforunately, I was dissapointed with the overall construction of this dress form:- The molded plastic form itself had a slightly mishapen shoulder, only one side. It's minor, and shouldn't affect fitting (I hope).- Unfortunately, the mechanisms used to adjust the form are ALL plastic, from the adjusting wheel to the bolts. They're kind of a cheap plastic. I don't expect that I will be making many adjustments, after I adjust the form to my size, but I don't expect they will hold up long to repetitive use. If you construct garments for other people, and need to adjust the form frequently to accomodate different sizes, you'll be very disapointed. Even for me, I don't expect them to last long, and I already have plans to 'modify' by replacing these parts with something more durable.- The adujusting knob at the top, meant to adjust the neck is very clunky, and like the other adjustment parts, is entirely of cheap plastic.Overall, I needed a dress form, and now I have one. It's overall better than some of the newer models in this price range, but like the others, the form is constructed rather cheaply. This won't stand up to regular use as made. I'd have given the dress form glowing reviews had the manufacturer spent an extra dollar or two and used aluminum parts instead of plastic.

3Very Workable Form
By NuJoi
There are many dress forms to choose from. I like My Double Deluxe because it gives you the functionality of more expensive ¾ forms at a fraction of the cost. This is a great form for a novice to intermediate sewer, but the more garments you churn out, you may want higher-quality form. You do get what you pay for. Being able to adjust the form as my weight fluctuates was a key driver for me, but these dials are plastic and don't seem that sturdy. One of the things that's important for me to fit is my sway back. I found adjusting the center back and center front lengths on the form a little difficult. Making the adjustment wasn't so bad, getting it to stay adjusted was troublesome. I had to tape it to make it stay. I wish there were markings to show the various center front and center back lengths.Adjusting the dials is an easy process and the measurements hold once you make the adjustments. I would like to see the scale on the dials resemble more of an actual ruler, but that's a minor quibble. I have not tried the hem marker yet. You can pin on the form, which is nice. Speaking of pins, you may want to glue the pin cushion in place; it pops out sometimes when you're grabbing pins.I've found that the best way to build the form to your personal shape is to invest in a set of foam pads and a cover. The Fabulous Fitting System is awesome and works well with the form. I previously used batting. It works well too, but it's messy and takes forever. In summary, this form is very workable. If you want a budget-friendly adjustable form that allows you to fit pants, start here. If your size has been pretty consistent and you can afford to invest more in your form, there are other brands you may want to consider.

5Bold and full sound
By M. Oleary
The sound on these is excellent for such a small unit. I was very surprised by the fullness of the sound and how well the room was covered.Despite what the other reviewer says, this unit DOES work with the new 2nd gen Nano. I have a green 4GB Nano and it fits perfectly on the dock. Granted, the adapters may not fit the Nano I have, but it frankly didn't need one. It stood tall on its own with no chance of damage due to it incredibly low weight. The bonuses of a built in alarm clock and the option to run on AC or battteries makes this product a done deal for me. I couldn't be happier.

4Decent system at a good price!
By R. Beier
The RAP10 is a great value. We were looking to replace a radio that we had in the bathroom to listen to in the morning while getting ready for work. My wife chose the JVC RAP10 as the replacement. For the unit's size, it's a great little iPod clock radio with decent sound. Having the ability to add our iPod nano when we want a little of our own music is a nice feature. It also has a miniplug line-in for other MP3 players if you don't have an iPod.The RAP10's (+): the price is right, the sound is quite good for the small size, the small footprint is nice as we have limited counter space in the bathroom, the option to use 6xAA batteries rather than plug it in, the AUX jack, the remote and the backlit display. The RAP10's (-): the case feels a bit too "plasticy", not much bass response (but it is a small unit), no radio presets and using the FM antenna is required to get some radio stations and having the wire hang off the unit is cheesy.Overall, I really would recommend this unit for anybody not looking to spend over $100 for an iPod speaker system that has a radio and is portable. We have been very happy with ours and hope that it lasts as long as the CD boombox it replaced.

4Great for the money
By Daniel L. Bateman
Pros: This is a great way to get your iPod heard. Runs off the included AC adapter or batteries. Charges your iPod while on AC power. The remote control is nice too, I put a velcro pad on the back of the remote so I could stick it to the unit.Cons: Lacks bass and midrange. A little hard to carry around, it's a small round case and there is really nothing to grab onto.

1Excellent with an unforgivable, horrendous design flaw
By Steve S.
If Call Waiting matters to you...I bought this and used it for a couple of hours before realizing that it did not support Call Waiting AT ALL (unless you consider hanging up on your current call acceptable). The omission of such a commonplace phone system feature should have been stated up front - it was not. The "workaround" suggested by the Plantronics support staff is simply absurd and involves a five step process to "flash" over to the incoming call. As conveyed by the Plantronics support personnel:1. Pick up your phone / press Talk on your phone Note: The step above may require a short sprint if you don't carry your phone around with you.2. Hang up the headset (this is NOT OPTIONAL, see below)3. Flash over to the incoming call using your phone's Flash/Talk button You are now talking to your new party on your PHONE4. Click the headset button to turn the headset back on5. Hang up your phone. You must repeat steps 1 - 5 to return to your original call. The Plantronics web site FAQ states the following:=========================================Can I switch between calls ("Flash" feature) using the headset? If the user is on a call using the headset and receives another incoming all, pressing the headset button will simply hang up the current call but will not transfer to the new incoming call.*Important note: The "Flash" feature is deactivated when the CS55H headset is turned on. In other words, if the user turns the phone back on during an incoming call in order to view incoming Caller ID, pressing the "Flash" button on the handset will not switch to the other call.=========================================That said, the call quality and range of the headset was excellent and if call waiting/switching between calls is not important to you then you'll probably be very happy with it.

5Best Available for Standard (e.g. Home) Phone Lines
By Jim S
This is one of a small number of wireless headsets that is self-contained, meaning that there's no belt pack with a wire to the headset, and among those the only one I know of that does not require a handset lifter. That makes it my first choice. However, it only works on standard phone lines, so it won't work in many offices.Using a headset with a belt pack is a nuisance. For example, when answering you have two parts to pick up. Similarly, handset lifters should be avoided when possible, because they can move around and be unreliable, not to mention all the parts and wires on your desk. Avoiding these problems is a big advantage. On the other hand, the CS55H could be easier to use. Answering is no problem, but dialing a call requires extra work, because a separate phone is required and you must handle both the headset and the phone. In particular, after dialing, you must hang up the separate phone. If you get a busy, you must remember to hang up both. These may seem minor, but I find them a bigger nuisance than I would have thought.I don't know why Plantronics didn't add a dial pad. This would have made it easier to use and eliminated a bunch of wires and an extra phone on your desk. The separate phone should be optional.

5Essential for a Home Office
By GW
I consider the CS55H to be essential for my home office. I work from home and between direct calls and conference calls, I am on the phone for at least 2-3 hours per day. The CS55H is very lightweight, and feels unobtrusive even when worn for hours at a time. (Other headsets I've used start to feel heavy, or hot, after several hours.)The microphone is top-notch - others tell me I sound absolutely perfect, as if I were speaking into a high quality wired phone. I am used to having to mute my phone during conference calls, but the CS55H mic's noise cancelling abilities have basically removed any need for me to mute unless there is serious background noise (screaming kids, etc). The sound quality is excellent too. I do hear a bit of a background buzz, but I strongly suspect it's because my headset is surrounded by a nest of home office hardware. I plan to experiment a bit to see if I can quiet the buzz by repositioning things. In any case, it's not enough to be a bother, or even very noticeable.I love that the headset itself has volume controls and a mute button built in. When muted, the headset softly beeps 3 times every 15 seconds. It'd actually be easier if it were to beep at the time you mute or unmute it (it's kinda hard to tell if you've pressed in the button all the way, so you're not really sure you're muted/unmuted until you hear (or don't hear) the beeps 15 seconds later). The CS55H is obviously expensive, but this is one of those things where you get what you pay for. If you are on the phone for hours a day as part of your livelihood, this is a no-brainer investment. This is a serious piece of equipment, not a $40 junky headset, and it's worth every penny.

4Cool little digital receiver/ doesn't work with older iPods
By ®
Ok, I got these speakers because I loved the little digital receiver and the tight bass sound, even though I already have a Creative I-itrigue L3800 computer speakers. First off, the built quality is great and sound quality is phenomenal for a sub/equal to $[...] speakers. The four cubes design is very modern, small and compact. The digital receiver you see in the picture is the same size as the speakers cube. The tiny subwoofer is one of the best out there.Sound comparisons:I am going to compare this to my older L-itrigue 3800 that is my standard for computer speakers. I am playing this off a Sound Blaster's Fatality sound card. The L-itrigue is much better overall for sound. It produced excellent high and mid range sound, but good bass. This NXPS1 produced excellent low (bass) and midrange, but only good high. The NXPS1 is a better choice for hip-hop, rap and drum and bass Jazz (Boney James), since the bass is a lot tighter and sounds fuller. I prefer vocal, trance/dance, classical jazz, rock and the I-itrigue is way better. You can hear the vocals (S. Brightman) for rock (Duran) and alternative (Bush, Travis) music much cleaner on the Creative, but kind of muggy on NXPS1. Other music like new age (Engima), trance/ techno (PVK), lounge (St. Germaine) music, and some jazz also perform much better on the I-itrigue with better high, so you get more ambient atmosphere: chiming. The I-trigue bass crack at higher (max) volume then the JVC. The JVC power output is similar to Creative, but seems get much louder, both are powerful enough for computer use.Features:JVC hands down is better or cooler, but there are some features that bugged me. First, this is designed for iPods, but only support 4th and 5th generation iPod, so my 3rd or 2nd generation iPod from 2004 will not work. This is also listed in the user manual. The USB audio on the back of the receiver produce a max. of 16bit 48000 Hz, which is a joke, the sound is so flat compare to my Sound blaster card max sound rate of 24bit 192000 Hz. This will produce a higher sound fidelity/range. So I have to run my cable from the sound card to the front panel of the AUX input. The USB memory card will read mp3 sound excellently, but doesn't read my napster's wma. The JVC receiver has more features then the Creative one, like the USB and IPod input, both have headphone and AUX input. JVC has play, pause, stop buttons and a digital track on the receiver that works for the USB memory, but doesn't affect my iPod at all, nor does the remote. Both have a mini remote that looks like they were manufacture from the same factory, but JVC has 2x the buttons on it. Also the JVC have a digital timer, sleep and timer, which only a few sub-100 speakers has.I think the JVC is a great overall speaker for sound and features. Too bad the Creative I-itrigue 3800 sound is a little better, but most people can't really tell. I will keep both for now.

4Great sound, does what it says.
By K. O'DELL
This is a great little stereo system. It works well with my ipod and the sound can be very loud and clear. And its small enough that it can fit anywhere (except the subwoofer). Only downfall, is you can only choose the next song or previous song with the remote control on ipod setting. You cant change the artist, etc. You have to do that from your actual ipod. It did shut my ipod off completley once, I had to reset my ipod...I guess there are still some minor querks. But all in all it is a good product, worth the money spent.I recommend it.

5Great sound for a small price
By Benjamin Benesh
This little unit really packs a punch for its size. I picked one up for a steal on clearance at Sears for under $30. I must say it was money very well spent. The two small speakers combined with the sub woofer provide the perfect amount of sound for use in my living room. It's much smaller than the 10+ year old bookshelf system that it replaced. I have been able to play all of my iPods (Nano, 4th Gen, Classic, Touch) with no problem. My only peeve is having to physically go over to the iPod to select a new artist or play list. The preset EQ settings are average. I have found that it is best to my liking to just adjust the bass and treble to what I like. Overall I am very pleased with this system. For the sound I would expect to pay at least $80, but not the MSRP of $249.99. For that much you may as well buy a HTIB.Pros:Small SizeGreat soundCons:iPod controls are limited to PAUSE, NEXT, PREVIOUS.iPod dock cable is short.iPod "dock" is at a small angle.
