Spa Quality

I am an esthetician and continually get questions about the quality of this item, so I decided to buy it to see how it worked exactly. We do a procedure called high frequency in our spa, derma wand is a high frequency machine. High frequency is done with electrodes; electrodes have a gas (such as neon) vacuum sealed in the glass electrode. We use this procedure to help products (like serums, antioxidants) get absorbed into the skin, to help stimulate collagen production, and increase elasticity and tone in the skin. Dermawand is a high frequency electrode, the gas does release a smell and this is normal, it works just them same as the spa machines. The machine appears to run at the same levels of intensity as the spa machines. Same feel, smell, sound, and results. As with all the procedures like high frequency, galvanic, or light therapy the results are temporary. But, one dermawand costs as much as one facial with high frequency electrode added to it. And you can use dermawand as often as needed to achieve and maintain the results desired. If you want to know how it will feel, smell and work look up a local spa in your area that offers high frequency and go get a procedure done with the electrode. The dermawand is definetly a good buy. You will achieve even better results with higher (pharmaseutical grade) serum, check with your dermatologist or an esthetician who has been working with your skin to see which serum would be best for you.

It works for me!

I'm 43 yrs.old and have been using derma wand since Jan. 2002. It didn't work overnight but if you're patient enough to use this on a regular basis, you won't need to spend a lot more money paying a plastic surgeon. When I tell people my age, they always say that I look like I'm 10 years or so younger (just wish you could see me...). What it claims about getting rid of zits, making pores smaller, diminishing fine lines, making the skin firmer, etc...that's all true (at least in my case). I don't even have crow's feet. I use skin care products that work for my skin type (combination)- for daytime: I use clean and clear detoxyfying facial scrub with microbeads while in the shower, moisturize with Cetaphil cream and for nighttime: I use Cetaphil skin cleanser, moisturize with organic shea butter, then use dermawand especially under my chin to prevent that skin from sagging. Oh, don't forget to exfoliate 1-2x/week (I use buf-puff) or that neutrogena skin rejuvenator with cleansing pads. Drink plenty of water and eat food that are rich in vitamin a,c and e. I noticed that when I stopped using derma wand for a while, my skin looked dull so I just went back to using it again and the 'glow' slowly came back. Incorporate derma wand use with your skin care regimen and you will see results over time. It works for me .... so hopefully it works for you too....Don't expect a quickfix here; it's not 'abracadabra'....just like losing weight or becoming financially secure.....it takes time!

This item really works

I have been getting facials over a year o try to improve my complextion. I tried everything on the market and didnt anything that really made a difference for very long. I have these little rocks that keep surfacing on my face. No matter how many facials I have had along with using only oil free products nothing gave me a clear smooth face.I noticed tha the lady who did my facial would roll this electrod ball on my face at the end of the facial. So I did some research online and found info about the Derma Wand. I got it on Amazon for $99 + no shipping which was cheaper than continuing to have facials done. On top of it 30 day free trial!!After the first time I used it, the next morning I could see a difference in my face. It was not lumpy looking anymore it was smoother and had a nice sheen to it. The "rocks" would surface quicker on my face with easy removal. I used it all over my face like the booklet says to do and after a week even my husband looked at me as we were waiting at the airport and said 'you face looks so nice and smooth". Just to add more I had deep creases between my eyes along with the jowl lines around my mouth that I just hated!!! Not kidding when I say they are barely there anymore. It may not work for everyone but it did for me which is a first. I have bought so many products over the years just to be let down and disappointed but this wand works for me.It is worth every penny to try this product especially with the 30 day free trial. I am sold on this product and will continue to use it everyday. By the way I am 53 and feel beautiful again because of the Derma Wand.
