More beans than I know what to do with.

I bought this on impulse, the moment I came across it on Amazon-- I had been shopping for Jelly Bellies after not being satisfied with the pricing of bulk beans from brick and mortar/warehouse stores. 10 pounds of beans for $65? One click and several months later and here I am. I've had these for months and I've hardly put a dent into them. I've had to resort to finding creative things to do with them-- like putting handfuls into individual baggies and hiding them throughout the house so I can have "surprise jelly beans" when I'm not expecting it.The only reason I knocked off a star in this review is because these beans literally come in just a cardboard box. No plastic bag holding the beans, just a bunch of beans sitting in and against cardboard. There were some small exposed seams and I did have some concern if the beans could be exposed to creepy crawlies. A one cent bag to protect the beans while they are in the box would be appreciated.

Furthermore, according to Penn State Dept. of Aerobiological researchers, carbon filters serve to remove odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chemicals that other filters cannot. The Multi-Tech has multiple technologies to remove cigarette smoke and other odors, including the activated carbon filter and ionizer. The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture found negative ion air purification (ionizers) to be 99% effective at removing airborne dust & particles. Under normal circumstances, Multi-Tech replacement costs will run just $25 to $50 per year (for replacement filters and UV lamp each year). The Multi-Tech will only add a few dollars or so per month to your power bill. Its powerful fan increases air-cleaning efficiency by effectively moving the air. Even with the fan setting on high, the Multi-Tech is very quiet. The Multi-Tech air purifier has been awarded ETL safety certification and is maitenance free.

I adore my air purifier -- most sensible thing I've ever bought!

I started to run this air purifier exactly 52 hours ago, and it has already changed my quality of life.I have never owned an air purifier before. I have been literally choking on the air in my own apartment during the several months that I have been living here, and I had extremely unrealistic expectations about an air purifier: I imagined posting something like, "Wow! I could feel the difference after two hours!" Well, OK, it took more than two hours! But it happened.I started it on low fan with the sanitizer disabled. Then I went to medium fan, then I added the sanitizer on low, then I put the fan on high and the sanitizer on medium. I awoke this morning no longer choking on the air and no longer confronted with the aggressive dusty odor with which I had come to associate my apartment. I left it today with the fan on high and the sanitizer on medium and returned tonight to a completely different atmosphere.I am not afraid of the ozone produced by the sanitizer but if you are you can choose to run it only once in a while or never.My only concern is that, unlike some other air purifiers, this one does not have a display light that indicates when the HEPA filter is dirty (and this HEPA filter is permanent if you have a hand vac although you can also choose to buy a replacement filter [also readily available through amazon]). Since this is my first air purifier, a dummy light would have been great. But I went for the price. I guess I'll know when the filter needs vacuuming or changing when I sense that the air is once again heavy with particles.But no negatives. I love this thing. I want to hug it.

4 Years and still working GREAT!

I bought my first XJ-3000 Surround air purifier in 2005. It's been in the bedroom ever since. The air always smells fresh and clean not musty. I bought two others for my boys. One was too loud. Sent it back and was replaced right away. Excellent service. That one review where the woman thought they weren't working...she forgot to remove the wrapping from the filter. I did that when I got a replacement filter. These work EXCELLENT! The ionization makes the air so fresh. I have run the one I bought in 2005 twenty four (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week and it still performs like it did when I bought it. Only issue is I replace the main filter every two years...here's a hint...take it out and vacuum it every three months or so. It will last a lot longer.

Great Investment!

I recently traveled across country, Phoenix (AZ) to DC with my three cats and the thought of stuffing them in their separate kennels for journey, even with nightly stops, was not appealing. A family member spotted the Pet Tube in a magazine and I was sold. I did buy the accompanying comfort pillows, which are a fit perfect in the Pet Tube and easy to clean in the event of messes (I had food and water and small litter pan in the large Pet Tube plus three cats!). I did even up rotating on cat up by me for breaks in a carrier to give everyone a bit more room to breathe, but the Pet Tube made a night a day difference with three cats that normally loss their minds just on the way to the vet!

2500 Miles and Two Cats

I had to move two cats from the East Coast to Washington state this summer and was really stressed about how it would work, especially since I was going to be the only human on the trip. I found the pet tube and decided it was my best option for myself and the cats. I have to say it worked great. The cats had enough room to get up and move. What's more, they actually were able to use the medium sized litter box I provided them in the tube. Getting the tube in and out of my small Mazda hatchback was fine as long as I moved the seats up when it was time.From what I can tell this thing is very durable. I lugged it in an out of several hotel rooms while it was filled with 24 lbs of cat. No problems. I did put some twist ties on the zippers because I knew my cats would soon figure out how to open it. Some were complaining because it doesn't let much light in. For me that was a plus because it encouraged the cats to sleep and not concentrate on the movement of the car.This thing is well worth the money if you have to move a pet a long distance. I don't know what I would have done without it.

The best pet carrier available.

I bought this carrier (the large one) for my two cats when moving across country. I made the trip in 2 days, 11-12 hours driving each day, instead of the planned 4 day drive. They never complained. I stopped frequently the first day to let them take breaks, but they didn't seem to mind sitting in it and sleeping the whole way, so I just kept driving until I was tired. The second day they slept so much I pulled over a couple times just to make sure they were still okay. They were just chillin'. They play in it and go in happily when I have it out in the house. I had it out in the living room for a couple weeks before moving, and they think it is their play house. We use it frequently for trips to see family 4-5 hours away, and they don't seem to mind the car trip at all. It is hard to see in from the outside, but if you climb in you find they can see out just fine. It collapses very flat and takes up almost no storage room, but sets up as quickly as unzipping a zipper. For a large vehicle, there are adjustable straps to secure it. In my compact car, it filled the whole back seat. Traveling with pets has never been so easy, and I feel happy that they are safe. There is no better pet carrier for traveling in a car.

Happy Ears

I have been incredibly pleased with these earring and they have now become my "every day" earrings - insured at the replacement value, which is far more than the actual cost. One problem is that the back fits better on one earring and I can get it tighter on my ear than the other but at no time do I feel that I am going to lose the one that is slightly loose.I love the shine, the brilliance, the glow and the great feeling they give me. I have received numerous compliments on these earrings and my heart is happy. These were a present to myself for havig dealt with a bad situaiton for over two years and survived. Everyone needs to pamper themselves sometimes - this is a great way to do it.

Fantastic for practice or even games when you lose true game balls

Most of the balls I received have very minor blemishes. Once any new ball is hit once, it is blemished. These are good balls.
