This is obviously an attractive watch, and fairly good quality.HOWEVER, the leather band is very flimsy, and when, in a few months, you need to replace it you will discover that Skagen charges $32 for the replacement band, which is unavailable elsewhere. Furthermore, the silvertone frame around the watchface scratches up very easily. And the frame has openings that are so narrow that most plain leather bands will not fit into the opening (it does not have pins to hold the band in place, just a slot with screws to tighten it. I would DEFINITELY not recommend this watch...there are too many other good options for a classy, classic watch without these kind of monopolistic business practices embedded. Don't drink the kool-aid...

Stylish watch

The face is slightly smaller than I'd anticipated, so buy this only if you're looking for a smaller-sized watch. It's stylish and just what I'd been looking for. It is the second Skagen watch I've purchased in the past year, so I'm becoming a loyal Skagen fan. The leather is of a nice quality as well.

Can't go wrong here

I purchased this pot a few months back and it is probably the best I own- and I have tried to buy quality kitchenware. It is the first pot I reach for when making my family's favorite pilaf, or any other rice dish for that matter. Rice turns out perfectly every time. It can't be beat for soups and stews or other dishes that need to cook slowly over a long period of time. I've never had anything burn or stick to this pan. Love the nubs on the lid that drop moisture back into the pot and it's stylish enough to place directly on the table (with a heavy pad or thick wooden board underneath it of course!) The only drawback (expected) is the weight, which gave me problems when I dislocated my shoulder, but hubby and sons gladly did the lifting for me until I could manage myself. If I ever had to get rid of all my other cookware and chose only 3 or 4 pans, I'd choose this one first.

Magnificent Stew and Soup Pot

Beautifully crafted dutch oven from France - on par with the Le Creuset cast iron pots but with a better, richer color and the self-basting lid. Matte black porcelain interior finish less likely to be marred by cooking and stirring. Overall an excellent value for a serious piece of cooking equipment.

cookware lust

I've owned Le Crueset pots before, and while they are wonderful, I fell in deep lust with this Staub 8qt in Grenadine while browsing at Sur La Table one day. I held out for a long time, but with a recent amazon gift card windfall for my birthday decided to go ahead and splurge. I love this pot, cooked steak soup, white bean soup and a roast in the past week and they all tasted 10x better than they normally do. This is my favorite kitchen item and I have a feeling this will be come my go to pot for everything from boiling potatoes to making slow braised ribs. If you are thinking about purchasing this, don't hesitate like I did = wishing I'd bought it years ago!

perfect size

I bought this wok after comparing 3 different wok. I choose this because of the weight and the size of the wok. I just like the design and the look of it, looks much more like my mum's beat up wok except nicer.lodge pro logica bit heavier and deep. may be just meant to be on the stove top all the time. the other french made a bit on shallow side, if just for stir fry vegetable for 2 may be ok. with staub, i've done fried rice for 4, 1 medium size steam fish, use with 10" bamboo steamer for shumai, just name it. I love mine. Plus the matte black one goes well with my other cast iron collection.

Cooks nicely!

Got this Staub wok a week ago and it cooks my food very well. The food also retains heat nicely for a good 20 mins with the fire off and when the cover is on. The food still "sticks" to the wok but I'm sure as time goes by, it will develop its non-stick nature.

Excellent product

This works great on cook tops that are challenges for a conventional wok. And... the inside is round on the bottom, not flat so traditional cooking is possible. The cast iron is thin enough that it responds fairly quickly to changes in heat; however, not as fast as a traditional wok.

Finally, Postal Letter Carrier boots that are DURABLE.

I am a letter carrier for the USPS and I have purchased every brand of boot that are available to us.. I have to say that these stand up to the constant walking we do everyday better than any other brand. Also, they're made in the USA.

Best boot for concrete, ever

I work on my feet on concrete every day, these are by far the most comfortable and durable boot I have ever worn. I have previously worn Danner, Whites, Cat, etc, Whites rock outdoors, but these are lighter and more comfortable on concrete.

unforgiving

I have worn these boot for three weeks and I'm still having to pad around my ankle. The areas around the ankles will not form and they won't break in. The bottoms are great, but the tops are stiff and unforgiving.

Outstanding for all-weather motorcycling

Outstanding for 4-season all-weather motorcycling. Not too hot for summer. I've worn these through heavy storms with no leaks. I initially bought the 6" version, but thankfully exchanged them for the 8". Your rain pants won't reach the top edge of the rain barrier if you get the shorter boot. Also, these are very comfy to walk long distances in, and great for standing long stretches. The boot is supportive and the sole very padded. Cops/Security guards should love them.Minor complaints: (1) They don't break in and form to your feet like an all-leather boot would. (2) You can't leave them tied and slide your feet in and out via the side zipper. Unlacing is a must, every time.I found them to run slightly long and narrow. I usually wear a 10, occasionally 10W, but 9.5W fit me best. Extra-wide as an option too, and I'd recommend going that route if you have wide feet. My feet are just slightly wider than average and these 9.5W boots are still a little narrow when my feet swell on hot days. I have to wear thin socks. I tried 10W and it was too long for my normally size 10 feet. I'm curious to know what 9 extra wide would have felt like, but no regrets.Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I prefer these over bates brand boots. They fit fine and are very good quality. This is the second pair of these boots I've purchased. First pair lasted over a year.

A great value -- Made In The USA

Being first to review a product is tough, but somebody's got to do it, and I'm glad to. Firstly, I want the reader to know that I am just a retired mechanical engineer and inveterate do-it-yourselfer, not a construction or factory worker, so it will take me months to put the wear on these beauties that one of those guys do in a week or two. I do, however, know how to recognize quality. When I have worked in them enough, I plan to append my review, but I hope you won't wait to try them out.I award the first star for Amazon's price and on-time (actually ahead of time) delivery.The second star is for fit and being true to size. I have always thought I was a size 10-1/2 C, but I downloaded a sizing pattern which showed me to be a D width, and the boots are spot-on.The third star is for quality materials and construction. Even though I put very few miles on a work boot per year, these are my second pair in three years. Wearing my last pair at a "Rebuilding Together" work day in April, I was able to do a step-slap-step-slap performance since one of the soles had totally delaminated. I later determined that the other sole appeared to be starting the same thing and I was able to pull it off by hand. Note the stitching around the entire sole of this boot, plus the Goodyear welt which allows the boot to be rebuilt if desired. The full-grain leather looks and feels great, and the stitching is excellent. Quality.The fourth star is the absolute, hands down, big reason I purchased these boots: Made In The USA! If you work for a living -- doing anything, there is no reason to not purchase Made In The USA whenever it is possible. If we don't all protect our jobs, there will be no jobs except service jobs repairing the crap made in China.The fifth star is for value and price. These boots are about double the price of similar Made in China stuff, but for all the reasons listed above, they represent true value especially in comparison to the $250 price tag on similar product.I don't think you'll regret the purchase of Weinbrenner Thorogood boots.

This is my 4th pair of Thorogoods in 3 years. I have found the comfort and quality is unbeatable. A big plus is that they are MADE IN THE USA. I have worn many different pairs over the years and have found Thorogoods to be the only ones that I will be buying from now on.

Great work boots. Comfortable and supportive.

I had to purchase steel toe shoes for my job. I looked at and tried many brands of shoes. None were as comfortable in the same price range as these work boots. The leather is supple and did not require break in, thus no blisters or discomfort related to my feet. It showes to be well stiched and put together. I have worn these for close to a month , performing demolition duties, they have stood up to the abuse while being comfortable to wear all day long. I expect that I will get a few years use out of the boots before I'll even have to resole them.

First Time Puzzler

At 1000 pieces this puzzle is a great way to start anyone's interest in jigsaw puzzles. The pieces are sturdy and detailed. When completed, it is gorgeous and frame-worthy. This puzzle took about 10 hours to put together and it has it's challenges. No frustration trying to put the sky and sea together. Overall, it was a great experience putting the together.
