Great travel companion

This is a great shaver you can use it under the shower or with shaving cream or plain soap. The two AA batteries last long enough to make it practical. It shaves smoothly without irritating the skin. My previous one was stolen from my suitcase so I couldn't wait to get my self a new one as soon as possible.

Not Terrible, but doesn't last long

Not a terrible purchase. In fact, a pretty strong cut early in its lifetime. However, its limitation is that. The internal battery doesn't work well after several months of use, so you get weaker cuts. However, if you're looking for something cheap, and you don't mind buying 3 razors per year that may cost you less than a real "nice" permanent shaver, this is a good pickup (this is battery operated, but, after about 3-4 months, when you change the AA batteries and replace them with new ones, you still get weakened performance.)

ok...if you have a hour to shave

Maybe my five o'clock shadow was thicker than usual but this shaver took forever to do what a Gillette razor dose in a few minutesother than that It is well designed little shaver (its no Dieter Rams Design)to much flare but it fits well in the hand and its components fit well.Unfortunately it just takes forever which is a shame because this would be great for carry on etc... Ultimately I would return it but I don't believe I can (without a hassle) as I had to open it to try (kind of bs as it dose not perform as advertised so you should be able to return within trial period) anyways I can't recommend this product.(Rant on Returns/ Packaged goods from the internet or in general)Also I don't recommend buying similar products on amazon due to the difficulty of returns with products of this nature.The consumer protection agency or even amazon should do something/more to help consumers with bogus internet retailers return policy's. Money exchanged for a product is a contract if that product dose not perform as advertised i.e. stated the contract is void and the consumer should be entitled to a full refund once item is returned (granted there should be some guidelines to protect the retailer [which there are, also they should be more standardize] but not so far that they void the consumer protection entirely [Which many unfairly do, as in this case].(Rant on Packaging)I suspect on of the main reason for packaging an items in a particular fashion (which is typically an unsustainable one) is to make it impossible to return. The packaging for this item is a heat sealed thermoplastic package making it difficult if not impossible to reuse(sucks in my opinion, whats wrong with paper-box or a compostable plastics packaging that snaps closed so it is reusable).(For a Laugh)[...]
