Very easy to use. Love the memory needle. Great quality. Made with US & German parts labeled right on the dial. And it's basically the same as a Snap On torque wrench for a much lower price. Can't beat it!

5Best Torque Wrench
By adg44
This is a top notch torque wrench without a ridiculous price. Furthermore, Snap-on/CDI is excellent to deal with. I had some questions regarding this torque wrench, so I called their office and was transferred to someone in their technical team. He was not at his desk, so I left a voice mail expecting to never hear from him, but he called me back within 10 minutes. We spoke for about 15 minutes and he explained everything you could ever want to know about this torque wrench and torque wrenches in general. You want to pick a torque wrench that will be primarily used in the "middle" range of adjustment. For example, this torque wrench is most accurate between 70-90 ft-lbs. On the calibration sheet that was shipped with the wrench, it was only off by 0.7%.Also, this is a dual-scale torque wrench. It is hard to tell from the photos, but it is in 10 ft-lb increments on the shaft with 1 ft-lb increments on the handle. On the reverse side it has Nm, but it is not even. If you want Nm to be the primary scale, then you will need product 2003NMRMH.The only difference between this and the Snap-on version is that the ratchet head on this CDI wrench is made in Taiwan, whereas the Snap-On one is made in USA. Both wrenches are assembled by CDI in California, but the CDI one does not have 100% american made components (everything else is aside from the head). For half the cost, I'll take one with an asian sourced head since I'm not using it professionally.

By David M. Mccance
This CDI/SNAP ON Torque wrench is the best money can buy. Very sturdy and maintains calibration exceptionally well. CDI also has a great customer service department, and should you need repair or calibration CDI will do it for a very reasonable fee. Buy with confidence.

5Great Torque Wrench regardless of money
By cib
Very good quality torque wrench, came with its certification card indicating how it tested at various torque settings. Not only is it a great torque wrench, it isn't that expensive when compared to similar quality ones that are usually twice as much, such as snap-on, mac etc...

5This is a great tool
By J. Ford
I bought this to replace a VERY similar Matco tool (CR17LFT) that 'walked away'. Differences noted: This cost about $45 less than I paid for the Matco wrench. This wrench feels slightly heavier and a bit tighter than the Matco, although that one was a couple of years old with almost daily use. The handle on the top and bottom is flat, instead of rounded all the way around. The Matco ratcheting mechanism subjectively "felt" better, but the flex head lock had more play in it.I'm definitely very interested in Armstrong tools now. I'm very pleased with this ratchet and may buy the 3/8" version soon.

5Great tool.
By J. Richardson
I tend to break 1/2 inch ratchets pretty quickly, but this one has lasted for about 4 months now. Locking flex is rarely needed, but cool occasionally. If you like to use 1/2 inch tools when you should be using 3/4 this does the job.

3well..........
By chevy technician
Well basically it's a o.k ratchet. It's made in the u.s.a. and is designed a lot like Matco ratchets. The lock for the flex head broke the first time I used it, however the ratchet works great. I'm a little disappointed in the warranty though. Got a runaround on where to get it fixed. Armstrong didn't want to help and tool topia (who sent it through amazon) wasn't much help either. But if you are at home its a great ratchet,if your a pro technician stay with Matco,Mac,or Snap on.

5First impression: High quality
By Jorge Alfaro Velasco
For some time, I heard about the quality of Armstrong tools, and many claim to be assimilated to MATCO and SNAPON but at a much lower price. So I purchased the model "11-994" out of curiosity, at first glance you may notice a very good finish in the design, and construction. As the number of teeth has only 60, however for my purposes there is no problem. In addition, partly in terms of quality, I will start testing it.Update 04/30/2012So far I have used several times in the repair of my car, and I really convinced its versatility. Has several advantages over brands like Matco and SNAPON, eg its head is thinner than the Dual SNAPON 80 of the same category, and the locking mechanism of the head is the same used for the model MATCO and this is higher than SNAPON model. On the other hand, does not have as many teeth as the model SNAPON (80) or as MATCO (88), yet offers too good performance thanks to its 60 teeth, and you can also purchase a "repair kit MATCO" and update them 88 teeth. However, yo must not forget that it costs almost half what they cost these other models.

5The best ratchet I've bought
By HillbillyfromAL
I bought this to replace a Kobalt that is similar in design minus the locking flex head. That feature alone is worth the price difference. The Armstong is much lower profile, the gearset is finer with a more positive engagement, and you can feel the better build quality in it. The last thing which is probably the most important, it's Made in the USA. If you haven't heard of Armstong before they are on par with Snap-on and Matco, and current issue to the Marine Corps. Sometimes you can find surplus sets for much cheaper then retail. I picked up a set of the reversible ratchets (like GearWrench) for less than you could buy a set of the GearWrench for. It also had more sizes and they have proven to be better than the GearWrench for really hard to loosen rusty bolts. Ever since I started using them I now only buy from another company if they don't make the tool I need. That's how impressed I was with the quality, good luck and you won't regret buying an Armstrong tool unless your a socialist ;)

5Second only to my Birks
By deltablues
These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet. The only thing that feels more comfortable are my Birkenstock sandals. I have four pair of Neil M. Romes and will buy more if I can find them on sale. These are the ONLY shoes I have found that work well with custom orthotics. I have flat feet, and I used to run a lot, which resulted in some other foot problems. So I had to have a foot doctor make me some rigid and semi-rigid orthotics (for $400!). Well, they cause pain in just about every pair of shoes I have, except running shoes and Neil M. Romes. I wear my Romes at work all day, then when I get home, I'll notice a couple of hours later that I'm still wearing them! That's because my feet feel so good I don't even notice my shoes. That NEVER happened with any other pair of shoe I've worn to work. I notice the Neil M. literature says their shoes are made to accommodate orthotics. If you don't normally wear orthotics, and you find that there's a little too much room in your Romes, just put arch supports in the shoes. The smooth leather Romes do show some wrinkles after you wear them a couple of times. The leather is soft, but they won't look brand new after the first couple of wearings. The suede Romes seem to hold their good looks longer, but I know a lot of people avoid suede because you're not suppose to get it wet.

5Super comfy shoe
By Amazonian
My husband is a bunion sufferer and these shoes are top notch for him. The leather is really soft, and they don't irritate his feet. We purchased the black pair but already had the brown pair. This is a fantastic shoe and although it is costly, pain-free feet is all that matters....well worth the expense.

1Chinese quality
By Joe
As other reviewers noted, shoes are longer and narrower than marked size (10.5B ordered, actual size approx 11.5A). Pair I received were made in China, not US. Neil M US-made shoes are great but apparently their Chinese factory is not held to the same standards.

5Great tool
By 951Matt
My mechanic recommended this torque wrench. I have been very happy with this purchase. I use it for my track car, a 1988 Porsche 951. I change the wheels twice a day when at the track so a torque wrench is essential. This wrench works great and appears very accurate. Nice case too.
