General Information:
The Hot One 240 Volt portable heater is designed with the same rugged construction as Cadet's commercial unit heater line. It provides warmth for large areas that are often difficult to heat, like garages and workshops. The fan delay mechanism, standard on all units, allows the element to heat before blowing air, thereby eliminating cold startups. It also delays the shutdown of the fan after the element turns off to disperse residual heat. The Hot One comes factory equipped with a bracket for either wall mount or floor stand use (non-marking rubber pads are included on the mounting bracket). The area must be equipped with an accessible 240 Volt receptacle.

Technical Information:
The Hot One 240 Volt heater is available in 4,000 watts (2,667 low setting) or 5,000 watts (3,333 low setting). It also includes a fan switch for air circulation without heat. A double pole thermostat is built into every unit. UL requires a 3' minimum clearance from front, 6" from back and top, and 12" from sides.

Important: There are two different receptacle configurations.

Great Heater

I love this thing. I've got one just like it that I bought from a local hardware store to heat up my garage in the winter, and it works great. Works like a charm

I added an additional radiator to the front of my car because we upgraded the engine. With the refiller tool, it completely filled everything - including the new cooler and hoses - without any trapped air. The coolant I used was very expensive (Porsche original) so I didn't want to waste a drop and this tool make it happen.

Amazing tool

I have a Nissan 350Z which we struggled with diagnosing the cooling problem. I had used a special fill funnel and burped the system several times but was unable to extract all the air pockets. With the Airlift, it took 10 minutes and the systems was vacuum leak tested and refilled with coolant without any air pockets. Amazing! Great tool and well worth the money.

I use the UVIEW 550500 for my motorcycle cooling system and it works great, saving me precious time and is much cleaner than adding coolant manually.It's simple to use and does what it's advertised to do. Hard to beat a combo like that!!

Inexpensive and functional

So I've used this kit for a couple of shoots, and here are my observations:Pros* Very inexpensive way to get into lighting* Once you've put it together, simple to break down, move, and setup fairly quickly.Cons* Absolutely no instructions for assembly, whatsoever. While its not rocket science, there we some moments that I would have liked some instruction. However, once you get the first light together, subsequent ones are simple.* Cheap materials and/or poorly tapped screw holes makes it impossible to fix one of the lamps into position (horizontal, not vertical).* Umbrellas are (as you can see in the pic) translucent, so a lot of the light hits the rest of the room, limiting your control of lighting. On the converse, I have also used the unit reverse, lighting the subject through the umbrella, which works nicely for other shots.Suggestions to purchasers:* Find a suitcase to carry/store the kit in. I think a cheap hard plastic case (greater than 18" in length) would work well. I ended up buying a soft sided tote suitcase from Walmart for $25.* Use velcro straps to secure the power cable to the stand, otherwise the cables hang out and can get you tripped up.* Purchase extra bulbs, you can't get these at walmart! :) These are special color-corrected bulbs.* Recommend a dimmer for each unit (I imagine you could get a generic dimmer from any electronics store that would work).

Great value

I've only used this once so far and it worked as I expected. Not pro duty but it gets the job done. I like the third light. Original bulbs are still working but I will most likely replace them with higher wattages if the fixtures will accept them. If I had a wish I'd wish this came with a carry bag. I would have even paid more for this if it had a bag.

GREAT VALUE --- Heavy Duty Industrial Tool

I purchased this demolition hammer about 1 year ago for some heavy duty demolition work. I have been very pleased with its performance.There are larger demolition hammers available costing much more money but the advantage of this tool it that it is lighter in weight than the others (meaning less fatigue) and about ¼ the price. The most important thing to remember is to remember to keep the OIL level filled at the proper level for proper lubrication. The only servicing you might have to do over the years is to replace the electrical cord and plug. I always replace my tools with a 12 gauge wire. This cost me about $5.00 and took 10 minutes to replace. Most import Chinese tools are manufactured with undersized electrical wires to plug into an outlet. The type of Chisel this hammer uses is a bit specialized and not available at many stores. THEY ARE AVAILABLE HERE AT AMAZON.Replacement Chisels for this Demolition hammer are available here at Amazon at a cost of about $20.00 (plus shipping) per set of 2. To find search at Amazon - Heavy-Duty Chisel Bits for Electric Demolition Hammer - Jacks Tool Shed. They even have a Shovel attachment to fit this Demolition Hammer for hard pan dirt or clay. I own this Demolition Hammer and it is an invaluable tool to my company. A great deal too!

Great Value

I bought my jack hammer through Amazon but it actually shipped from Jack's Tool Shed. This jack hammer is great value, I live just outside Austin which means you have two inches of dirt and then solid lime stone. The jack hammer makes light work of braking up the rock while still being relatively small and light as far as jack hammers go. One of the contractors that did work at my house was so impressed with mine that he ordered one too.

Beats renting one

I removed a 3ft by 8ft pad of 4inch thick concrete with this. Worked good. Little tip is to let the jackhammer do the work dont try to force it through the concrete. And now I own a jackhammer so I will never have to rent one. Definitely made in china workmanship but it works.

Sturdy, comfortable boot

Carolina makes good boots, the stitched soles last for years. I've been wearing this style for over a month now and I find them to be exceptionally comfortable and durable. While not the ideal summer boot (feet get very hot in warm temperatures), an any other temperature and terrain they are perfect. These are also heavy boots, meant to take a beating.

excellent boots

I just received my boots today and as always I am quite happy. This is the second pair of these boots that I have owned. My first pair lasted me about 2 1/2 years. These boots fit like a glove and the speed laces make putting them on so much easier. The only reason I ordered a new pair was because my other ones just had no tread left on them. The boot itself was still in good shape. Of course after 2+ years they were no longer waterproof but that's an easy fix with some mink oil and a good water repellent!

Great, quick heat

We had this unit installed in our bathroom by a licensed electrician. This unit puts out great heat the instant that it is switched on. The built-in thermostat is very handy. After a short break-in period (1 to 1.5 hours of use), the unit is very quiet. My only complaint is the following: the dial switch on the front of the unit is plastic and seems a bit flimsy. The markings are hard to see and the switch is not tightly fitted into the painted-metal face plate. Regardless, for us, the way it heats up our cold bathroom makes up for the flimsy switch.

This is a great cover. It replaces another Dowco cover that was used for I don't know for how long. Got it with the bike when I bought it. It fits very well, even with a windshield and rigid saddle bags (Shadow ACE 750). The heat shields definitely work; I cover the bike right after riding and have no problems. We've had some windy days here in the NE and with the strap, it stayed on. Keeps the bike clean and dry. I considered other brands and am glad I went with this one.

Good cover

Regardless of what the description says, this medium cover is used for my kawasaki 600 sportbike. I opted for the larger size which was a good move. The manufacturer's pic shows the cover going halfway down the wheels. Mine goes all the way to the bottom of the wheels about an inch from the ground which is perfect. This cover is good quality and will keep your bike dry. Get this one, it is worth the $$$Update: I just got a new cover which will be my second. I live in Florida, so my bike is out in the hot sun, humidity, and rain all day. My first cover probably lasted me about 4 or 5 years before it started to rot and tear, which I think is pretty amazing. I still rate this cover 5 stars and will buy another one when this one wears out years from now.

Solas Impeller, great acceleration

I bought this item to replace my old, worn OEM impeller. Its exactly as described and gives great acceleration but I'm guessing a may have lost some speed on the top end. I can't confirm that though as I don't have a lot of faith in the on board speedo. The pitch is not the same as the OEM, but finding an impeller to fit an older unit can be tough. Like any impeller, installation is a pain due to having to disassemble half the machine (obviously not a fault of the impeller), but I'm happy as it runs fast enough and gets there in a hurry. Wish I had more spare time to play and get a different pitch impeller and see the difference.
