Most Realistic Tan Next to the Sun!

I've been using my Nuress tanning system for about 2 months now and I absolutely love the results. The color achieved is more like that of a tan from the sun than of any other spray-on tanning product I've ever used, it dries the fastest and has the most pleasant scent. It does require some practice to get it perfect, but once you do, you'll never want to venture into the sun again. I want to express the importance of properly exfoliating prior to spraying yourself for the best result and the barrier balm is not worth the price-vaseline works better and goes much further. You must use it on all of your "dry" spots: knees, elbows, hands, feet, ankles, etc. Be sure not to use too much or too little for the most natural look. Also, DO NOT sweat until you are certain the solution is good and dry on your skin or you'll end up with some weird looking marks the next day after you shower (don't sit on the toilet, either)! One spray session should last you a week.My only complaint is that my sprayer leaks and has from day one, but it would be a hassle and a bit pricey to send it back for a replacement, so I just deal with it. Otherwise, a great investment!

Excellent looking tan

I just want to say that I've tried other tanning solutions and I like this one the best. It smells way better than the Mystic tanning solution. I would give it five stars but I have a couple of complaints.The first is the bottle that comes with the kit is only 6.8 fl oz. I have done one tan so far and the bottle is almost empty. I bought a Mystic tanning kit last year and it came with a 32 fl oz. bottle and I used it all summer. I even still have some left over. A 32 oz bottle of Mystic tan only costs $39.95. and Nuress currently only gives you an option to buy a 16.9 oz refill bottle for $49.95 so I think Mystic is a better bargain.My second complaint is the air compressor is too powerful. You can adjust the amount of spray that comes out but setting the adjustment knob too low makes the spray come out too faint. I think an adjustment setting for the compressor would have been a good solution.Overall it's a great kit if you can afford the $50 for a 16.9 oz. refill bottle. Give me at least 32 oz for that price and this kit will dominate Mystic!

I love this tanning system!

This tanning system is great. The first time I used it was a bit messy, I had some streaking because I wasn't really sure what I was doing. I've really got the hang of it now and it's really easy to spray tan your whole body on your own! This is so much more cost effective than going to a mystic tanning salon. The color is great, not orange at all! It's a great investment.

Easy & Accurate Way to Monitor Blood Pressure at Home

The Omron HEM 711AC automatic blood pressure monitor is incredibly simple to use. Simply place the cuff around your upper arm, attach it to the monitor. Push on/off, wait a few seconds, and then push start. It inflates and deflates the cuff automatically, and then displays your systolic and diastolic BP and pulse rate. It will store multiple previous readings (up to 20 I believe) and runs on either AC (adaptor included) or AA batteries. It was also accurate within a couple of mm of Hg when compared to the sphygmomanometer in my doctor's office. I have had mine for a couple of months now, and have no complaints.

Highly recommended

Like many people, having my blood pressure measured in a doctor's office usually results in an artificially high reading. After my most recent visit to my family physician he recommended that I buy a blood pressuse monitor and measure my blood pressure at home every day. At first I bought a monitor which measures blood pressure at the wrist, but I had difficulty getting consistent readings with it. A friend who is a retired physician recommended that I get an upper-arm-positioned monitor and specifically recommended Omron, so I bought this HEM 780 monitor. I'm very pleased that I did. The readings with this monitor are much more consistent than those obtained with the wrist monitor and, as I suspected would be the case, are significantly lower than values obtained in my doctor's office. The monitor is very easy to use and functions completely automatically once you turn it on and press the start button. After each measurement it digitally displays both the systolic (higher) value, diastolic (lower) value, and the pulse plus the date. Furthermore it saves these values sequentially for the 90 most recent measurements -- a real convenience for comparing values over time. The monitor operates with AA bateries (which I prefer for convenience) or, for economy, with an AC adaptor which is included. I highly recommend this product.

Great Automated BP Cuff

Great device. Easy to use, comfortable and appears accurate as compared to my physicians readings. I like having the average of three readings calculated as well as the memory for tracking AM and PM readings.If you want a home BP cuff, consider this one.

This is a nice, solidly built fence that tracks well. I had to do some fiddling with it to match up exactly but then, I'm putting it on a HF saw. Close comparisons suggest it and the accura machines came out of the same factory, I'd say.One thing I didn't care for is that the guide rail scale was just a piece of tape measure with a peel off sticky backing. That sticky backing is really sticky! Once it touches, it won't move (at least not w/out tearing up the tape.) Also, getting it orientated to the blade is very dicey. I wound up pitching my tape and just use a tape measure to set my fence to distance.Other than that scale, I am well pleased with this fence.

The correct tool for the job.

If you are an electrician and you need to quickly calculate loads, voltage drops, conduit/raceway sizes and any other electrical calculations, this calculator is a great tool. It is currently updated to the 2008 NEC. When the NEC does a change/update, this calculator has the ability to be updated to always be current with the NEC. Instead of having to flip through tables in the NEC, you can use this calculator to quickly find your answers. It is a tool that I would recommend to any electrician.

Not as user friendly as it should be

This is a niche tool that is rather expensive and could use a lot of improvement. It does do what is needed, but it will lead you to wrong results if you are not careful in how you enter the data. This is especially true for grounding conductor size, power factor and conduit size. Calculated industries is sticking to an out-dated format just to make their product backward compatible and sell upgrades to their older units. It needs a better display, buttons just below the display that change function with notes in the display for the function, multiple input lines in the display. This has all been done by other companies like HP and Ti. If you use it a lot and know its problems, it can be a time saver. If you use it occasionally it can be a lot faster to use a plain calculator or a spreadsheet and look up what you need in the NEC.

Just about a must have....

If you are an electrician working on your own this tool is a must have. Even if you are part of a larger company and have others do to the planning it's still a great tool to have. You can pretty much open it up and use it instantly because most of the major calculations are quite simple to do and a big plus is the ability to update it to the current code. Even some of the more advanced features are relatively easy. The intructions are quite clear and walk you through practice calculations for each feature. Also, the keys are all clearly labled per each function. The only negative is that you can't bring it to a code examination. A great tool for a working electrician or maintenance person.

Its fine, but not as sturdy as expected

I bought this wagon as a Christmas gift for my GF to use as both a cutsy garden wagon and to pull her Bulldogs around the block ..... don't ask :))Amazon did a fine job delivering the product on time. The wagon itself is a bit smaller than expected and a bit less rugged than equivelently priced garden wagons. Also, the safety feature that limits the turning radius of the wagon severly limits your ability to turn it around in a confined area without backing up and repeating the menuever several times.All in all, Amazon did what they advertised and I would buy from them again.Rich

Well Done, Radio Flyer!

This is a very nice wagon & appears to be well built. I had planned on getting the #18 Classic Red Wagon like I had as a kid, but am glad we decided on this one. The bigger wheels make it easy to pull in snow & other terrain. And although the racks probably aren't designed for heavy use, the wagon itself looks stout enough that I might just use it for yard work & gardening once in awhile.

Cute but tips over

This is a very unique and cute little cat. The head is huge and makes it fall right over, but it is quite cute propped up. It is even more fun if you know the story, which you can find if you google the story of flcl takkun the cat and follow some of the links). It is the pet of a girl in an anime story.

Completely adorable

Incredibly cute; depicts the cat from the anime very well. The head is a bit heavy and it does topple over. When it came in the mail the whiskers were squished a bit, but it's no problem. Good memorabilia for those who enjoyed the anime.

Best humidifier on the market - a gem among many lemons

We have gone through many humidifiers over the years and we have tried everything - every type, every brand - and this is a product category dominated by lemons. This Essick humidifier is a gem. It is easy to install and setup, has a decemt hygrostat (humidity gauge), and has a full digital LCD screen. We have not had issues with white dust which plagues other humidifiers. My only minor complaint is the power and fan speed control are the same button; when you hold down the button to turn it off, the fan turns down one speed and you have to cycle through to get the original speed when turning it back on. Very minor nuisance.We liked our first so much we bought a second for the family room. Would recommend to anyone and we are considering buying a third one. We will never buy another humidifier brand.

Buy because of Essick's reputation and customer service

After researching the heck out of every sort of humidifier on the planet within an "average" price range, I decided on this Essick Air unit.Essick's reputation for quality and customer service were the deciding factors in my purchase. The humidifier was delivered with a broken tab on the front grill, no big deal but this was a new item. I picked up the phone and spoke with a REAL person at Essick - 4 days later a new grill arrived.There seems to be no real difference in the construction of the majority of humidifiers out there. Almost all are made in China, almost all priced "about" the same and almost all work most of the time.The difference will be in the company behind the product.This unit works well. The tanks are easy to fill at the sink. The replacement wicks are readily available and inexpensive for the life you'll get out of them. Fan settings on 3 and 4 are loud, more than just background noise - I keep mine on 2 and it isn't bad. The built in digital meter is nice as well as the pre-set feature.I ordered the unit on Amazon, it was sold by Uncle Joe's. Their true to their word so far as processing and shipping and had the best price at the time,$78.00. I would buy from again.I recommend this unit for a medium size apartment or smaller house.Buy one size larger than what you think you'll need, my only regret is that I listened to my wife and didn't. Here in the NE when it gets cold it gets real dry real fast.

OK while it lasted

We bought one of these a little less than 3 years ago. The water tanks that came with it leaked immediately. I called Essick customer service and they sent (free of charge) new, redesigned tanks that worked fine. The unit gave out about a month ago. I called customer service and explained the problem to them. They said that it sounded like the fan motor was finished, so that is the end of this humidifier. They only have a one year warranty, so I'm out of luck. We paid around $90 for this, so that's around $30 per year. I won't be buying another Essick product.
