Cheaply made...

My son loves these shoes, except for the fact that they keep coming apart. The first day he wore them, one of the buckles ripped off from the shoe itself. We had to take it to a shoe store to get it sewn back on ($10.00). About 3 weeks later, he started noticing that the lining inside of the shoe, in the heal area, started coming apart. About a month later, the leather at the base of the shoe, where it connects to the sole, started peeling off. Overall, this shoe looks great if you're into the style of it, but it's very cheaply made and cannot be worn on a regular basis unless you want it to fall apart within a month or two.

ok, CLEARLY these have huge heel. being 13, my mom freaked but i said they were VERY comfy. their so adjustable that they'll fit pretty much anyone. for sizes, i say that you should order one size up from what you are in boots. weirdly enough, i think they have a steel toe (for support i guess). but all in all, these are a great buy for anyone!

Your seat will thank you!

Can't fault either the seat or the seller's service. It arrived on time, installed quickly and fitted the Dyna like a glove. Only my opinion, but it is the best-looking touring seat for a Dyna. Not a massive block of cheap spongy foam, this thing is carefully crafted, surprisingly low-profile, firm, supportive and comfortable for long days. Don't be put off by the initial almost-hard feeling, it will give in all the right places soon enough, like a good pair of boots. Plus, once you are in this seat, the "seat of your pants" connection to the bike is very direct, MUCH better than you get with the spongy pillow seats some others sell. Position-wise, it's very similar to my original Street Bob saddle, perhaps half an inch forward. Highly recommended seller and product.

A reasonable transaction

This was the lowest price around for these shoes. If you've purchased pleaser / demonia brand before than you know what I'm talking about.The shoe is nice and fairly sturdy - pretty much what I'd expect from this manufacturer. I read many negative reviews of this seller referring to their shipping times and return policy. I can say that I received my item in a reasonable amount of time. I cannot speak to the return policy as I received the correct item and didn't need to return it.

Good looking seat

I knew this was one of the thinnest seats Le Pera makes for my bike. I own a Le Pera custom Cherokee seat that I love and it too is way thin but much more comfortable. The Bare Bones solo seat fits very well, looks really nice, but is really too hard. I hope that with a few thousand hours on the seat that it breaks in a bit. I ride 100 miles per day for work and I can make each trip to work and back okay but towards the end of each 50 mile stint my butt is sore. I think it is important to add that the seat puts almost no pressure on my tail bone but it does a little. Mostly the seat is just so firm that my butt cheeks get sore. Thats the truth of it. It's not the best looking solo seat but I like it and it does get compliments. I think it makes my bike look good and that important to me. I can live with a little discomfort for the better, lower look this seat provides. Plus I have two other seats to swap in and out when needed.

Great comfort and look

Could barely get my wife to go 100 miles on my origial seat. We rode 220 miles today with ease! We were both so comfortable. This is the most comfort I've ever had on a motorcyle, and I've been riding 24 years. Has a removable backrest for me (driver) that makes long trips amazingly comfortable and no more back straining. Shipping was amazingly fast, I was really supprised how fast it came. The quality of the seat is superb. Was going to get the Mustang at first, but I tried one for a week or so on my previous bike and it moved me up too much in the seat and was way too mushy, but some like that. The Saddlemen has gel in it somewhere, and the seat has a very different feel than most seats. It's not mushy at all, but almost hard, but when sitting on it, the gel really works. I am sold on the Sadlemen seats!

Great boots.

These are great boots. I have owned mine for over a year at the date of this review.After a year of owning these, I'd say these boots are pretty tough. Mine have held up on par with my older military issue boots,when they used to come in black. This could be because I take very good care of boots, having been in the military.To ensure your comfort, here are my recommendations.They take a good bit of breaking-in, as the leather is thick, and very sturdy. I recommend using mink oil, working the leather, and then bar-soaping the back of your heal, while wearing 2 pairs of thick socks while breaking these in. They are on par with jump boots, only much taller, and with slightly thicker leather. Make sure you don't lace the calves too tight, as you must account for muscle flexing and expansion while moving. Only steam break the boot at your own discretion if you have to do it in a hurry for a gig, or a night out. I would take the long traditional break in with these boots. You won't be sorry.Don't cheat yourself on your socks when wearing these, or you will be hating the back of your ankle-while still loving the boots!They are very high quality all around. I had the hardware on mine redone in black instead of chrome, looks good.Its a good boot, very unique looking, and quite durable. If I wear it about, just as a winter boot, I get probably 3 people stop me every day to ask about the boots, compliment them, ask where i got them etc.I would buy these again!

Solo Seat

I am pleased with the Lepera solo seat that I purchased for my Harley Street Glide. It is well made and relatively heavily constructed. The pan is steel and not plastic like the pan on my stock Harley seat.I have no problem with the fact that the seat is a thick vinyl rather than leather. It has a rich appearance and really alters the look of the bike.Incidentally, I have had a Lepera cobra seat on a panhead chopper for the past 17 years. Still looks good. Has only one small half inch tear near a seam.

These make securing my boat so much easier. Stainless construction makes these no problem for salt water launches. Before buying these, I had to make more trips between the truck and the boat.
