AWESOME CHAIR!

I bought this chair a month ago and I LOVE IT! I had a "leather" executive chair I bought at Staples 2 years ago for $150 for my studio. It was cheap, the leather started to split and yellow stuffing was falling out. I was not happy about having to replace it already. So I decided I wanted something that was comfortable, ergonomic, somewhat environmentally friendly, and was going to last! I did my research and found this bungee chair. I was skeptical at first, not sure about how comfortable it would be since I work aprox 10hrs a day. I read tons of reviews, people raved, thing I most read was how the chair "looked" uncomfortable but was actually one of the most comfortable office chairs sat in. As far as durability, one guy said he had his chair since college and would never buy another chair. I was sold.I've had this thing for a month now and I have to honestly say it's by far one of the best office chairs I've ever sat in for long hours. It fits my body perfectly and feels good the minute I sit down in it. It's also a good looking modern chair which serves my studio well...I'm a graphic designer, so I like well designed things. This purchase was well worth the cost and as I look forward to expanding my stdio, I will outfit the entire place with these chairs!

Not Good for Petite People

One of the reviewers here said this chair is not made for bigger people. I am short (5'3") and petite (120 lbs), and can tell you that this chair is apparently not made for smaller people either. I tried out a Euro Style bungie chair in a store and loved it. The only problem was that the seat did not go down low enough for me to sit with my feet flat on the ground (a common problem for us shorties). I saw this one online and the specs said the seat went as low as 16". The design looked very sharp as well, so I went ahead and ordered it.Well, not all bungee chairs are made alike, because this one feels nothing like the Euro Style in terms of support and comfort. Since my hip span is narrower than average, my weight is concentrated in the center of the cords instead of being evenly distributed, resulting in a very uncomfortable and unstable feel. If you press down on the cords closer to the plastic ends, it feels much firmer than in the middle. This is logical, but requires an even weight distribution in order to achieve a balanced seating position. Not only do the cords sag in the middle, if I sit down to hard, they hit the metal pan underneath. (I was able to bounce easily in the other chair without this occurring.)I'm not sure if the tension of these cords is looser (it might be a bit), but there are fewer cords than on the other brand, and there is more space in between each cord, all contributing to a lack of stability. I find myself sort of wobbling around in the seat and get the sense of "falling through" in between the cords when I move. Also, there is zero back support for me. The curvature of the seat back is too high for short people (another common problem), and this is exacerbated by the fact that there are too few cords in the back, leaving a big open space at the bottom, as well as at the back of the seat, just where I need to be supported when sitting back in the chair. Needless to say, this chair does not work for me in any way and i will be returning it.I gave it two stars because the frame seems solid, it was easy to assemble, the mechanics work well, and my "larger" friend tried it out and found it pretty comfortable!

Nice Chair

This chair is great, but not made for bigger people. It is not wide enough so the plastic pieces that hold the chords will dig into your legs.
