the best
By Buckaroobanzai55
This bag is the best I've seen. SUPER thick and durable. MUCH bigger than you would think! No first aid/trauma kit is gonna come with everything you want. It just doesn't seem to exist or it would cost so much that nobody would buy it. It takes at least $1000-$1500 to have a proper kit. IMO the key is to find a bag that will fit everything you will need but still be organized and manageable. Furthermore, and more important than anything, it needs to have super strong double zippers on every pocket and must be water proof. Has to have dividers and organizational features. This is the only case I have been able to make the "perfect" kit out of and it took a bunch of $$ to figure that out. I will include a list of my inventory with this review (excuse my funny descriptions, wife's Chinese and not familiar with our medicines so I had to put some simple descriptions). The bag has a bit of an old 80's feel to it for some reason. I only say that because my friends always call it the 80's lifeguard bag (I think it's the funny shade of orange they use, but the bag come in blue also). By the time I got it fully stocked, it weighed EXACTLY 26lbs which is very reasonable.* (1) Poison/Venom Guide with Pics* (6) 3"x3" Gauze dressing pads, (3) 2-pks* (20) 4"x4" Gauze dressing pads, (10) 2-pks* (25) Transprent Waterproof Bandaids* (1) Hydrogen Peroxide 16oz - Stop Bleeding* (1) 12"x30" Multi-trauma dressing* (2) Emergency pressure dressings* (2) 4" Conforming gauze roll bandages* (1) 6" Conforming gauze roll bandage* (4) 36" Triangular sling/bandage, w/2 safety pins* (24) Alcohol cleansing pads* (12) Povidone-iodine infection control wipes* (1) .5"x10 yd. First aid kit
By Robert E. Kuenzinger
The kit was fully stocked as described.I did how ever have to aquire a few things from my local walgreens to complete the kit for my needs like sanitary wound cleaner and extra gloves along with a c-collar and ambo bag to complete the kit.I think for the money this was a bang for the bucks.my total after the few addons was about $160.00

hard to beat: price & contents
By MC
After reading many reviews on several different EMS/First Responder bags, I decided to order this one as my "starter jump bag" to keep in my truck (in all honesty, I was also highly motivated by this past weekend's camping adventure that ended with 2 people requiring minor to moderate medical care ~ beyond what my previous 1st aid kit could provide). The price made it an incredible value & the rather detailed reviews here aided in my decision (read them!). I received it today (fast, fast, FAST shipping!) & promptly set to going through the contents with a fine toothed comb, comparing items to the inventory lists provided. While it includes everything here, it appears that my kit actually came with a duplication of one of the internal packages (score!) ~ that said, the only reason I am rating this as "4-star" and not 5 is because on the side of the external bag (orange canvas, not the inside liner) is an approx. 2" cut/tear that mimics that of a box cutter. Yes, I'm sure I could of returned it with this defect but overall decided it wasn't a huge deal (piece of duct tape on the inside & will sew a bit of reflective material over the outside to reinforce it). The calibration on the BP cuff is off slightly as well, but I already have one so doubt I'll ever use this one. I've decided we're even considering the additional supplies. ;)It's worth reiterating that while this is a [GREAT] stocked starter bag, it is far from what I'd consider complete (also noted by other reviews here, the C-collars, Ambus, etc. can be picked up on the side). I added a lot of little yet important extras: more/different types of tape, more wet burn dressings & gel, splinter removers, Sam splints/Israel battle dressing kit, quick clot kits, disinfectants/ointments, OTC meds (tylenol, asprin, etc), dozens of gloves, vet wrap cling bandages, flashlight, lots of "left overs" from my previous kit, etc. I also intend to add a small but medical grade profession field surgery/suture kit as there are only the bare essentials in this one (and, like another customer, my "mini scalpel" was missing). The best part about all of this? Everything fits with ROOM TO SPARE! I can even fold up my safety vest & stuff it in one of the side pockets.Because I question the waterproofing of the canvas (bottom is different) I'll probably seal it off with some silicon-based sealant to hopefully keep the rain out.So thank you, BP Med Supplies, for offering an affordable starting point.
