Received the item, and also purchased a ski / snowboard vise to use for waxing skis. Item looks very portable and assembled quickly and easily, except it came with no documentation or information. Two extra rods and a few bolts and a wingnut were included but it's not obvious their use or how to attach. I will attempt to get more information on the Internet and to attach the vise. Will update this review later.

Solid headset for use with cordless/wireless phones

I've been looking for the longest time for a solution that would allow me to use any corded headset with both my cordless phones and my computer for VOIP. I always hated the fact that one had to have a different headset with 2 plugs for your computer and then another one to use with cordless/wireless phones.Anyways, I really bought this product for the USB adapter that comes with it since that nifty little device allows me to simply plug that into my computer and use any headset that I have that works with my cordless/wireless phones. I just add this little USB converter to my travel pack and I'm good to go...one less headset to carry with me on my trips ;-)Plantronics headsets have been hit or miss for me in the past but this one seems to work well...the little volume/mute control on the wire itself seems a little flimsy and plastic'y but other than that it works great with my Uniden ELBT-595 cordless phone system.

OK but better headsets must be out there for less

I bought this primarily to use with a regular desktop business phone. In addition to regular phone use, I do some conferencing via Skype and didn't want to have two headsets on my desk, so finding a headset I could use with both Skype and the 2.5mm jack on my phone seemed like a good solution.However, one immediate problem confounded me when I got the headset: The cord for the 2.5mm cable is only 4 ft long! This is totally useless in reaching from my desk phone to my head without the cord laying on my keyboard or preventing me from leaning back in my chair. I spend as many as 4 hrs a day on the phone, so having some ability to shift around is important.Buying a 2.5mm extension cable is non-trivial. Some vendors on the web have them, but want 4x the cost for shipping. I ended up ordering a cable from Mouser Electronics for a small price and reasonable shipping.Plantronics is obviously aware of the short cable issue because the USB side of the cable makes the cable a reasonable length for when it is used with the computer. Too bad Plantronics forgot that they are also selling this to work with regular phones.Audio quality is fair; I do notice the hum noise that other reviewers have mentioned when I crank up the volume on the phone amplifier itself. For what it's worth, I'm using this with a 2-line AT&T 992 phone.If the extension cord works, I will keep using it. Otherwise, I'm going to have to find something else for my phone.P.S. It does work fine with my MacBook Pro and Skype on 10.4.

Nice HeadPhone - Comfortable.

I liked this headset a lot. Its says 3-in-1 i.e it works with cordless phone,mobile phone and PC (via USB).For me , it worked only on the cordless phone and USB.I talk for long hours still it is very comfortable.I did not give it 5 stars since it did not work with my mobile phone.I can hear the caller's voice but caller is unable to hear me.

Epson 1705c & MacOs wireless

The Epson 1705c projector does not work wirelessly with Leopard (MacOs10.5) on the Mac, but it does using Tiger. The unit works with a wired connection of course. Fortunately, I have a MacBook with Tiger (and an Intel Mac with Leopard). The projector is very light, but quite bright. It is supposed to show video at 30 fps, which it probably does, but quicktime projected from the Mac was jerky. I have only had this for a couple of hours so I will learn more. Wireless projection of powerpoint was very good. So far, I am pleased.Later, Boris Balley, artists, gave an 1.5 hr powerpoint presentation of his work. He had three 1MB images per slide projected wirelessly from a Mac using Tiger as the operating system. It was flawless. March 2008: Now Epson has an update for Leopard on the Intel Mac that works wirelessly. It is great.James BairdProfessor, Brown U.

Helix Power Tower Plus Throttle Body Spacer Plate

I would to say first-I own a 1994 K-2500 HD GMC Truck, w/ the 454ci (7.4 Lt.) engine, a NV4500 5 speed transmission, a gear ratio of 4:10 differential, all this is to allow whoever is considering whether to spend the big bucks and is it worth the time and money (at 8-11 mpg,$ becomes a real concern) I was at first hesitant about spending 80.00 + dollars for something I could find no one I knew that could say "yes or no" on the real performance of this pretty piece of 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and how long it would take to install it- it comes w/ a complete page of instructions, (that were very helpful) I had my ASE certified mechanic shop order me a brand new, smooth looking, nice & pretty crate engine& not a rebuilt, but new from GMC w/ a 100,000 mile or 3 year warranty- the original 454 was running fair for 192,000 miles- but it was time to change or rebuild (20-40 lbs. of oil pressure)-I broke the new 454 in according to motorman's recommendations w/Royal Purple break in oil for 5,000 miles (3 oil & filter changes) then used my top of the line RP 10w40-I could get 11-12 mpg @ 60mph-I drive 70-80 on the hwy, that set me to 8-11 mpg-I live 70 miles from any town w/a wal-mart-I made up my mind to go for the gusto- new Accell HP coil 1 amp 50,000 volts, cap & rotor,8.8 mm plug wires Bosch iridium 4 plugs -after installing all the above listed HP parts-I'm very happy w/my 14-16 mpg- The Helix spacer does give the air fuel mix a lot of help, faster starts, rapid pedal response, smoother performance and the reason for my over the top tuneup- much improved mpg, if I keep my foot out of the throttle 16 mpg is easy-in 4 wheel drive I get 14mpg @ 60 mph-if you want to improve your mpg-this pretty plate works, it really does ,It will pay for itself in a few months-Do follow the no more than 12 lbs on the install bolts and take a picture from the top before removing the elect. & vacuum hoses- Thanks again Amazon for the prices & the help w/ plug wires- get the good ones

I like everything about these except the adjustment screw for the upper platform. when i am waxing my snowboards and put pressure on the sides to remove the wax, the base moves. i was not able to tighten them any more than i already had them. other than that one thing, they are great

passed ca smog, and gave a decent boost in throttle response

I bought this thinking it was just a gimick, I was wrong Im running a aem v2 short ram with this, the intake made a small difference, but once I added this on to it. Wow there was a immediate difference in throttle response. The only downside is I had to modify the the bracket to relocate my throttle cable, the one that was supplied with the spacer did not fit on my h22a4. Aside from that Ive had it for two years, I smogged the car and everything, it passed even with californias strict smog laws.

great product

Brand new sealed in box. took me roughly 30 minutes to install. looks awesome and performs great. very simple instructions (dont really need them)and the bolts are heavy duty. You can't use you throttle body cover unless you cut it and thats what i did to keep it looking stock (looks good). I also have a full K&N intake and throttle response is a lot better. Id recommend one. I own a 2003 Ford Explorer 4.0 It has a slight wistle to but nothing crazy and u have to have the hood open to even hear it. i think it sounds and performs perfect.
