I bought this desk hoping it would not be too large for a spare bedroom, which I was turning into my home office. I chose it over a smaller one that did not have the L-shape, I could not have picked a better choice. The size, color and everything is just as discribed, only nicer! I have plenty of space for my desk lamp, printer, speakers, laptop, & all my desk accessories like stapler, pencil cup and paper clip holder, sorter, etc. There is still plenty of space left to write bills. It is a good looking piece of furniture, sturdy and heavy, much like the kind you would find in a nice work place.It was packed very well and delivered in this huge box - it was heavy! Surprisingly it was not difficult to put together, all the pieces are marked very well. There are 3 leg pieces, 2 panels, and the large desk top and that's it, 5 large pieces. I put most of it together by myself, I needed help at the end when you attach the long front panel to the desk top. The desk top and the front panel are the heavy pieces.I absolutely love this desk. I would recommend this desk to anyone, and I would definitely purchase it again. Don't let the thoughts of having to assemble it keep you from making the purchase! It wasn't bad at all, It actually was a piece of cake compared to the trouble I had putting my bookcase together!
