I bought this for my 11-year-old godson who loves baseball. He was able to set it up himself easily. He quickly learned that the ball returns best when he hits it properly. He pronounced it "awesome." This one's a winner.

I was wanting the three-legged hit-away post but couldn't find one as cheap as the water-fill base pole but I'm not disappointed at all. A great product that is very sturdy and resilient. It could be easier to roll but that is a minor complaint compared to how good the pole is.

OK, this is going to be blatant self promotion. I posted a video of me pounding on my Hit-a-way on youtube called "SKLZ baseball swing trainer". I really enjoy using mine since I got it last summer. I live in Germany and there aren't any batting cages around so to get some live swings in when I'm alone this does the trick. The water filled base works just fine, when I make solid contact it still rattles around a little but nothing too distracting. Only minor flaw I would note is I wish the poles would use a snap-into-position type of set up, instead of slide into position notches. But quick and easy set up makes for quick fun practice on an afternoon after work, or on a down day when there's no game.
