Product Description

The Dial Type Wrench provides an excellent solution for many applications. The wide range of scales makes selecting the appropriate tool easy. Accurate to 2% of the reading from 20% of full scale to full scale clockwise and counterclockwise, the Dial Type Wrench is the most accurate torque wrench family. The Dial Type Wrench is the only wrench that is not affected by the hand-hold position on the wrench.
Extremely Accurate - Accurate within 2% of reading from 20% of full scale to full scale.
Guaranteed against defect in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of delivery providing that they have been used according to instructions.
Exclusive Torsion Bar Design - This patented design features a connecting arm directly from the square drive to the easy-to-read dial. This enables the user to read the actual twist of the square drive. And, since a lever principle isn`t used, hand-hold position is not critical, unlike the split or bending beam competitive torque wrenches.
Compact Design and Tapered Nose - This provides ease-of-operation by allowing clearance where operating space is limited.

4Soild Tool
By W. Chang
I was considering getting one of those cheap ratcheting torque wrenches for about thirty to forty usd, but considering they would go out of calibration in the future, and to recalibrate is not cost effective for a cheap tool like that; I opted to get something worth my money. This is a solidly made tool, you can feel the quality and heft when you pick it up. One word of caution, this wrench is big, the pictures don't do it justice because there is no good reference, think medium adjustable wrench size, I was not expecting that considering most ratcheting torque wrenches are about the same size as a normal ratchet wrench. I was working on the engine of a motorcycle and was a little tight for space, otherwise an excellent tool, good long term investment.

5Excellent Value
By RWM50
I wanted an accurate tool that I would feel comfortable using when a torque spec was critical. This tool is extremely well made and is shipped with NIST calibration documentation. Great quality and exceptional value.

5Good tool for my timing belt job.
By asubtlepoison
I purchased this tool to use to torque the idlers and guides when I changed the timing belt on my 2003 WRX. I needed a wrench that went down to 8 ft. lbs. and up to 29 ft. lbs. This one fit the bill. Converting from inch pounds to foot pounds was easy. Just multiply the ft.lbs. by 12 and there you go. I also wanted a torque wrench that would be accurate but would also not need to be calibrated like the clicker types. I decided on this torque wrench due to research I had done on different styles of torque wrenches. This one is well made, had a solid feel and works very well. While I know that a clicker type is easier, I felt better being able to see the torque value change as I applied pressure.
