Project is as described
By Hsinfu Chiang
My father is a line dance teacher. His old mic system has problem when it goes too far from the receiver and got interfered easily. After receiving this 2000 Series, he says he can go very far and the voice remains stable and crystal clear. Money very well spent. 100% satisfy.

Good but not GREAT
By Jonathan krape
This review is going to look like a product comparison. It is intended for potential customers who are phasing out their AT 1400 series wireless systems and looking for legal upgrades. If that is not you, this review will bore.1400------------------20001x 9v battery---------2x AA batterieseasy battery change---need a key or knife to extract old batteriesantennas on front-----antennas on rearone way clip----------flippable clipStandby mode----------not on thesemetal mics------------plasticFront panel LEDs------front panel LCD9v batteries are more expensive, but for each change you deal with two not four. If you use a multi-tester to check your batteries, 9v batteries are a breeze. In the 1400 body-pack, you could open the cover and flick it upside down and the dead battery would fall into your hand. In these, you need a car key or a pocket knife to extract the batteries. (warn your talent before you walk up to them with an open knife in hand.)When mounted in a rack, the 1400 series receivers still had great reception because their antennas were in front. The 2000 series has moved them to the back making a better appearance overall, but less wireless performance since the antennas are in the back with all the other wires in the rack. The 2000 series mics, have a belt clip made out of one piece of wire. you can turn this up or down without any tools. This is possible on the 1400s but you need a phillips screwdriver. The 2000 series mics do not include a standby mode. I never figured out what this mode was for, but I know it made our sound people really mad a bunch of times. I will never mind the loss of this "feature".The actual mics are not comparable. (mic, not body-pack) The mics that came with the 1400 series and are still sold as replacements, are much better in quality than the new plastic ones they sell now. Audio sounds great, as long as the mic doesn't fall out of the clip. I had to use the wire out of a twist-tie to permanently secure the one mic into its clip. Now turning this mic to fit on a lady's lapel is out of the option. If you buy a 2000 series mic I recommend you invest in replacement mic wires right away.Audio-Technica AT831C Cardioid Condenser Lavalier MicrophoneMy last comparison is the information on the receiver. The 1400 receiver had two rows of LEDs. One for Wireless signal strength(RF), and one for audio level(AF). These were great because you could with one glance, analyze the status of any channel. The 2000 series front panel has one LCD screen. On this screen, the only thing you can see with one glance, is the channel number, which is not very important. The LCD has a great viewing angle, but you will have to squint to see the small indicators for RF and AF.Conclusion:You probably got the drift that I don't really like this wireless system. If you did, and can't understand why I gave a sky full of stars. I decided this systems, for its price had the basic functionality of many more expensive solutions. I still don't like many little things about this new series, but they do the job enough that they are a good (not super expensive) alternative to the (now illegal) 1400 series.

Good sound quality
By Soundman
This item is bought for our church since the formerly used Nady one recently always produces noises. We are all very impreessed with the sound quality and the easy of use. The reception is good. No wonder it is widely used in church ministry. The price is reasonable. One more thing is as far as we understand, we ordered the 2000 series but we receive the 2100 series which is the replacement of 2000 series. According to Audio-Technica website, 2100 series is the second generation product of 2000 series. Obviously, 2000 series have been obsoleted from the market. This product is highly recommendable. Actually we have bought another one which comes in a week later. It is also extraordinary too.
