This may not be the most expensive grinder on the market, but in my opinion, it's one of the best for the money. I have used this brand of grinder in my business for the last 3 years and it gets heavy use. Not once has it bogged down. I haven't had a minutes problem with it. Don't be surprised when you take it out of the box. It is not very heavy, but is extremely well made. The water goes in the tower on top of the grinder, not in the tray.

Just tried my grinder out for the 1st time, and I must say, it does what it's supposed to do, without any hesitation. I'm going to get years and years of work out of this machine, I can already see that, and you cannot beat that it comes with a 5 year warranty. I bought the grinder that a marketplace seller had up here for less than the other storefronts, but it is still in new condition (even though it was made in 2001, lol), and it still does the job. Thanks to Tricia Devine for selling it for a reasonable price. I also like the fact that it is easy to maintain & clean, and I can see getting another bit for doing fine corners and maybe even some drilling. Also, the unit is well designed as the water and grit residue from grinding never comes in contact with any moving parts. The only design change I can see making would be putting the drain hole right in the corner. It is located under the work area shelf, about 3/4" at a 45 degree angle inside from the upper left corner, facing the machine. Cleaning is still easy, but having this hole in the actual corner, you'd be able to lift the machine slightly and the water and mess would go in the hole without pooling up at all. Something for the Gryphon people to think about, if they haven't already done so on another model machine. Otherwise, an excellent purchase, and investment.
