The fabric is soft and has a nice finish to it. It looks good. Pocket vests are versatile and it is great to now have one that has sleeves as an option. This was purchased for a slim, 180', tall, 6', man, who generally wears a large, but has some problems insuring that the sleeves are sufficiently long. The sleeves on the large were too short, and the jacket was exchanged for an xlarge. The fit is good - the body is not too large and the sleeves fit well. The Military Trail Gear Shop made the exchange process easy and promptly shipped the new item.

This jacket has all the features as advertised. Plenty of pockets (which is why you are looking at it ,right?) Sturdily made. Zippers work well. The one I received seems to be a bit larger than I was expecting. Not a real problem, better than being too small. One caveat: It weighs a good deal more than I was expecting and feels like it would be a bit hot in warmer weather.

"Very quick considering shipment went from East coast to west coast. Jacket is perfect for autumn weather as well as hot weather. Material is a lighter cotton than most of the canvas cotton vests and field jackets I own (I own too many to admit) PRICE WAS BEST anywhere I found. Buy them here before they are sold out."
