I've worked outdoors in the wet, hot, muddy, dusty... these are the best of many boots I've tried over the last 37 years of working outdoors. The soles outlast most others 2 to 1. They don't wear out. They don't fall apart. Keep them healthy by occasional treating with Obenauf's Leather Oil. They will last a long time. Quick lace-up and comfortable. The best I've seen. Excellent quality! Thank You Thorogood for making such a quality Boot! Made in the USA.

These boots are comfortable, easy on and off, very spendy but I would buy this product again. Took only a couple of days for break-in. I have been a Red Wing fan for years but I think I like these better. They have a leather tab on the back to help pull the boot on but I found that it was more of a nuisance than help so I cut it off. Very good product and best of all its made in AMERICA!

My husband looked for a very long time to find a nice comfortable pair of men's 8", waterproof American made boots. The last few pairs of boots had all the bells & whistles like zippers in the side, which did not help at all and all these previous boots were made, guess where, CHINA!!! I have not seen anything good come from China. So this time we spent a little more, did our research and bought these, which my husband says are well made and comfortable and we feel good about buying American made. P Pratt
