This real coin from Poland, the size of a U.S. penny, is first layered in pure bright silver. Then, by hand, the figure is highlighted and brought to life with rich, pure 24K gold. This breathtaking work, done exclusively by J & J Jewelers, turns the coin into a stunning and true work of art. Each coin is hermetically sealed against wear in clear, hard acrylic coating. The coins are then made into a unique pair of earrings with sterling silver wires and placed in a jewelry box.

I am sadly a jewlery snob. Sadly because that means I pass up on neat looking costume jewelry because it isn't "real." The earrings I ordered on a whim--I'm Polish--turned out to exceed my expectations. They're light, easy to wear (and forget about) and I've gotten a number of compliments on them from people who never notice my earrings. I am very, very happy with them.
