I bought this clock several years ago for the cabin of our homebuilt catboat. The brass looks great against the mahogany boards in the house. Keeps time. Has held up well in the heat and humidity of central Texas lake sailing.Requires a special battery (i.e. not a AAA or AA). but we keep a spare on the boat for when it's time to change it.
