I wasn't in the service. Viet Nam and me didn't jive. I was never issued a field coat, but have always liked them. This one is pretty cool. It has a liner. In the city I live in, winters can get pretty heavy. This coat works great. I kind of wished I got a plain O.D. one, but the camo is kid of neat. The pockets and liner make it a good buy. If you don't mind wearing an Army Jacket, this one is okay.
