Exactly what was described in the Boot, the fact that is waterproof without the steal tow is excellent... Very good product, also comfortable, My husband walk in his job alot....

I looked for quite a while to find a boot this size that was waterproof (thanks to the Gore-Tex)... I have Danners (which I love) but they are a much larger boot & as a pilot, I need the room for the pedals! They took a little while to break in but I've had them for a month & so far I have been happy... Actually considering buying a second pair...

Ten years ago I fell wearing an extension ladder just before I broke both heels. I am still working and needed comfortable boots. I also wanted some that would help keep my feet from stinking so the X-ray Tech wont puke when I end up there again. I have worn these on several shifts without any mishaps. Even with the warmer than normal weather my feet were very dry and I was not limping. These do not have side zippers but they are very easy to put on and take off. I don't know how they are for climbing ladders but they are very good while walking and driving about. These boots are very well made and look great. I am very pleased with them.
