Ok, I've been having a lot of issues submitting a review lately so I may as well do one review just for fun.This hammer is a real sized replica of MJOLNIR, the hammer of the mighty Thor; the Marvel comic character based on the Norse God of Thunder. It's more than 18 inches long and the handle is wrapped in genuine leather. The thong on its handle is pretty strong; strong enough to swing the hammer without breaking. The replica is pretty heavy but not as heavy as the other 42 inch replica of "Ultimate Thor's" hammer.It also has the inscribed runes on the hammer:"Whosoever holds this hammer if he be Worthy, shall possess the Power of Thor"The hammer is perfect for slaying Frost and Storm Giants, crushing the skull of the World Serpent and shattering trees and mountains. It is also useful in warping ex-wives to a different dimension.This replica is a must for Thor fans or if you`re a 6`6" tall Norse God from Asgard...Highly recommended!! [5 Stars]Note: this hammer won't allow you to control the weather and fly unless you're worthy. :P

Years later the Hammers that Museum Replicas created are extremely rare and hard to find now this version of the hammer is not as impressive as the battle worn one.[...]The handle on this one doesn't have that nice worn leather wrap look I certainly wouldn't pay 1200 bucks for this considering you can make your own hammer from Home Depot materials for a quarter of the price. Personally I don't care for the english words on the side of the hammer since they are not present on the hammer in the comics, though I think it'd be better if Odin's phrase was put into Elder Futhark Runic language for a more authentic look. Or possibly the word "Mjolnir" in Runes.Or if you like it just for collectible sake I'd go with the Ultimates Thor Hammer that thing is huge and heavy it retails less.
