Nice but.....
By Luan C. Do
I'm more than happy with this stove! I bought it along with a Camp Chef storage bag, a full-size griddle, a griddle storage bag, two flame diffuser and a pair of extension as folding table for the stove. I LOVE everything about the stove, except for the connection of the propane hose to the burner/temp controller knobs. Why? If I leave the propane hose connected to the stove, it would protrude too far out when stored in its dedicated storage bag and may suffer from lots of stress. To prevent the hose from prematurely breaking off, I unscrew it from the stove when I put the stove in its bag for storage and transport. As an engineer, I think it's a design flaw. For this reason alone, I'm giving it a four-star. I've used the 30,000 BTU burner to fry fish in a wok, and it's more than powerful. I can't imagine how hot the 60,000 BTU can be. It must be great for heating a potful of oil for frying a turkey!UPDATE: We returned the stove because the 30,000 BTU burner CRACKED after we've used it 4 times. We could never get the 60,000 BTU burner to burn properly while the smaller burner is burning. The 60,000BTU burner is practically USELESS when both burners are going at the same time. We are ordering a dual 30,000 BTU burners model with the expection that both burners are powerful enough for most of our uses.

Very useful for canning
By pandajama
I bought this for canning a little over a year ago now and it is just about one of the best purchases I've ever made. It has extremely sturdy legs so you don't have to worry about 5 gallons (or more) of boiling liquid in a pot on top of it, and the burners put anything you are likely to have on your stovetop to shame. The high-pressure burner is really only useful for boiling water -- the flame spread is small and the thing is like a jet engine. It is slightly adjustable, but it adjusts from somewhere north of "incinerate" to "thermo-nuclear" so it's probably not something you'll be cooking on. But boy does it bring five gallons of water to a boil in a hurry! The other burner is really nice -- it is on a quite large ring and can be carefully turned down to a tiny flame. And at full blast, it too will boil water quite quickly, certainly compared to your stove.I should also say that the legs are short enough that it makes moving big, heavy pots full of water around a lot safer than doing so in your kitchen. If you are a shorter than average person you could easily cut them down further, too, to whatever size you like. I sometimes think this stove would be best if it were just 12 or 15 inches off the ground since generally I am hefting 50 lbs of boiling water around on it.Really, if you do any canning at all, get one of these or at least get one of the even less expensive models (I used a single burner 30,000 btu one for quite a while and that in itself was a godsend compared to my stovetop). You are not going to be disappointed with this stove. It is very simple technology, well designed, and I can't really see what would break. The few moving parts are all easily found anyway, at a good hardware store. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this stove for canning purposes. (I also have the barbecue attachment for it which seems to work okay but I haven't used it enough to form a strong opinion about it yet).
