I've always wanted a living room furniture set like this. At this price I couldn't pass these up. They're stylish and capture the look of the original perfectly. I've received many compliments from friends. Shipping and delivery was good and the furniture was exactly what I expected.Buyers should know that these are not the most comfortable furniture one can own- they sacrifice some comfort for style. But it's an iconic and timeless style that's been around since the thirties and still looks stunningly modern. If you value comfort more, there are other styles that deliver good looks and comfort. But if you must have the Le Corbusier style then you are willing to give up a little comfort. The right angles and firm cushions mean these don't cradle and support you as well as other styles. But a couple of small throw pillows definitely help without spoiling the look. I expect that over time the cushions will also lose some of their firmness, especially at the top of the back cushion. Original LC2's have a softer, slightly overstuffed look and that may be why they are noted as being so comfortable. Before purchasing these I have sat in other LC2 armchairs and always found them to be stiff and firm, so I was expecting these to be the same.I was concerned with shipping, having never ordered furniture on-line before. Shipping and delivery was fast and well done. Lexington Modern ships to a local shipper, who takes care of the final delivery. The local shipper called me a couple days in advance to schedule the delivery so that I could adjust my schedule. Buyers should note that requesting a lift-gate truck is a very smart move. These pieces aren't heavy, but get a lift-gate truck regardless, it makes the final delivery much easier. The furniture was very well packed in several layers of cardboard, with poly liners and bubble wrap wrapped in more poly. There was absolutely no shipping damage. My shipment was separated into two deliveries spaced a couple days apart.Overall I'm quite satisfied with this furniture set. I will order from Lexington Modern in the future.
