After purchasing 4 or 5 other supposedly lit, magnified mirrors that were useless, I splurged and bought this one and never looked back. I bought the 5X (I believe they come in 5X, 6X, & 7X). I have had this make-up mirror for 8-9 years and I LOVE IT. I paid over $100.00 for it back then and it is still working. I have had to replace the bulb and it was not an easy task but we finally got it. I am planning on purchasing one for my sister-in-law for Christmas and I know she will love it. Beware though, if it is there you will see it. I was stunned at how many eyebrow hairs I had missed without this mirror not to mention all the little fine lines I didn't know I had. Now I keep up with eyebrow hairs almost daily because you see them everytime you turn on the light. If mine broke today I would order another one today. It is rather large so you pretty much have to leave it out on a table or counter unless you have at least 10"W X 18"H of cabinet space. Great product.........

This mirror works great for me. I also have the travel size in 9X, but the magnification of the 9X is really too big for me to see all my face. This one, the 5X, is perfect for my 62-year-old eyes. The light is very bright and gives enough to apply makeup...which is what I use it for. In looking for--and buying--this, I saw few comparable mirrors that were _height adjustable_, and this one is. Makes all the difference to me...it goes quite high. Also, the "on" button is an inline rocker one, and it is placed very close (on the cord) to the mirror itself, so, when the mirror is plugged in, you don't have to fumble around looking for the "on" switch. A nice touch.

I did a lot of research on finding a vanity mirror, this one turned out better than I could of hope for! Love love love!! Worth the money. Looks, long lasting!
