Excellent ipod adapter
By D. Swope
I was a bit skeptical of this product but decided to take a chance on it. The installation was fairly easy on my wife's 2006 Honda Odyssey. The radio had to come out but that was easy and the USA Spec hooked up in the back with the correct plug. We've been using it for about 2 months and we are very pleased. The sound quality is perfect and it keeps the ipod charged. It also turns it on and off when you would expect (like when you turn off the car). Very nice.

Outstanding Unit with Ipod Connection and it charges!!
By Tim Thome
I recently bought the USA-Spec PA11-HON2 and all I have to say is it's a perfect fit for all you Ipod users. I don't own an Ipod, I have a Creative Zen Vision M. I connect the Zen through the second set of RCA inputs and it sounds very good. My daughter owns an Ipod Nano and we connected it and it works flawlessly, also to my surprise it evens charges the Ipod. You can control the Ipod through the steering wheel controls, advance the tracks forwards and backwards, adjust the volume up and down, EVERYTHING!!!. I might just get a Nano for the car and keep my Zen for the office and while on the airplane. This is a very good unit, very compact and you probably do not need the use of a ground loop isolator. I had one and tried it both with and with the GLI and it sounds the same. I get a little bit of speaker hum but not enough to worry about the GLI. Trust me it's worth every penny.

USA-SPEC HONDA to factory radio MPS/IPOD interface
By bwob2000
I purchased this product after checking into what a new MP3-compatible replacement radio would have cost me. I wanted to retain the functionality of using the radio controls on my steering wheel, but that required an additional adapter ($$) to use with the replacement radio. I was lucky that my Honda Odyssey radio had the capability of plugging in an optional cassette player (what's that??), so I was able to plug this adapter directly into the Honda radio and retain my steering wheel radio controls. Now I can use my Ipod (with some control functions) as well as other MP3 players or my laptop for DVD's on long trips. Powers the IPOD too while you use it. Definitely a keeper. The best part was that I was able to do the installation in about 15 minutes once I figured out where the plug-in was located on the back of the radio (found a picture of the rear of the radio in my repair manual)!
