When a hot tub pump went down, we wanted to hook up a smaller one that wouldn't cost so much because it has to run 24/7. This has worked wonderfully and the cost is much less on electricity now.

This is the third waterway iron might pump that I have had on my hot tub over the past 6 years. They begin making a high pitch sound for a few minutes then the sound will go away. This is the first sign that the pumps life is about to end. I just ordered a new one once again from ELECTRIC MOTOR WAREHOUSE. The pump failed at the very start. I contaced ELECTRIC MOTOR WAREHOUSE and explained what took place. They sent out a new one to me that very day. They are a outstanding company in my view. This pump is probably the best you can buy for small to moderate ponds. People tend to get pumps that are entirely too large for their application and end up dumping a ton of money on electricity for something that operates 24/7. It's easy to service and has been running for 2 years with no issues, i just bought this as a backup so i can switch out seasonally.
