Great for spot preheating before removing components, or can be used for reflowing SMT components such as SOT's, QFP's, and PLCC's. Comes with four nozzles which can be used to remove most common components.

This is a pretty decent entry level hot air rework station. Runs smooth and quiet, and has decent flow and heat control.My only real gripes are:-It doesn't come with a spare heating element like some others do.- Temperature control knob is labeled 1-8 for a temp range of 100c - 500c. I will need to get a thermocouple to accurately plot the temp range.
