5Great Product
By Tracy L. Marrs
I bought this to replace an old one that had rusted to the point that I could not repair it. I was very pleased at how easy it was to install. It works great and it is easy to find repair parts for it when it starts to leak in the future. Be sure to get the right length for your area. Mine is a foot longer than I needed, but like the extra length. You need to purchase it based on the depth you need to bury it. For example a 3 foot is designed to be buried three foot into the ground, it will be 3 foot long plus the length you need to bury it. I was confused and thought it was based on how high you want it from the ground up, so just keep that in mind.

5Excellent value
By Kyle
Works as well as the $150 Woodford ones. The hydrant has excellent flow characteristics and doesn't cause a major pressure drop. It drains well and has a 1/8" NPT tapped drain port so you can install a street elbow and point it downward to keep the port clean and free of foreign matter. Would definitely buy again.

I wished I'd had this before a harsh freeze in February. Easy to install and easy to use. No leaking, works great.
