This handheld light meter is easy to operate and can be used in occupational health and safety, illumination design verification and other light monitoring applications.
The light meter is cosine and color corrected for a quick and accurate response. Simply turn the light meter on with the provided safety cap in place, and the unit will zero the reading automatically. Then uncap for a quick foot-candle or lux level reading.

The meter works as it is advertised and seems to be accurate enough for most applications. One feature it does not have that would be useful would be a backlight on the display screen. In low light conditions it is hard to read the display; using a light to see the screen changes the reading. Other than that, it is light and rugged and easy to carry in the field.

I like the fact that it has the sensor as part of the whole meter. While it has a "hold" button, i wish it had an avarage button,
