You always take a risk when buying un-labled or bulk cable from individual sellers online, but this buy ended up being my favorite cable! While most people will get by using solid core for patch cables, I like making cables to last so I buy stranded core and use boots with my RJ45 ends. One thing that [pleasantly] surprised me was how soft the plastic is on this brand. This cable is very easy to work with, and the plastic shielding is very flexible so it's great for making short patch cables to throw in your laptop bag. I'd say this stuff is on par with the quality of commercial off-the-shelf cables you'd find in stores. For a real treat, use this with RJ45-EZ ends and crimpers, and throw in and end-boot for a patch cable that'll impress your LAN administrator!

It's Cat6 cable. It works as it's supposed to. The 4 pairs are separated by a plastic sheath the length of the cable to help minimize crosstalk vs Cat5 which has no sheath.
