From the information I've gathered, this is the same quality as MSM sold for human consumption. After I received my purchase, upon examining the information on the label, there is no binders or fillers, you get 100 percent pure MSM.I believe there are two ways MSM is manufactured, this is the less expensive MSM, but, buying this brand you can save a lot more money than buying the MSM that uses a more expensive way to make it's prduct.Does the human body really know the difference in MSM for humans and MSM for animals? I think not!

This product worked great for my family. I also contacted AniMed and confirmed that the MSM is pure and from DMSO and not made from any petroleum products. The lid, as others mentioned, does suck eggs and I transferred to an amber glass jar and keep it in the pantry. My skin, nails, hair and joints have all benefitted from this wonderful supplement. Even my dogs coats and level of activity have shown improvement. Highly recommend. *Caveat* It tastes nasty. Tip: Mix it in some juice and chug it down. Follow with more plain juice.

Joint repair, joint pain remediation, inflammation reversal and surprisingly, HAIR GROWTH, were aspects of benefits received from the product. The price was icing on the cake!
