First of all I want to make you aware of few negative things about it, but I Love those things LOL...This particular one says on the Kuryakyn site it fit an S&S carburetor... No it's not. I change my S&S B to an E and does not fit any of them (no more dragging let's street ride). It should fit a conventional HD carb but I don't know for this particular model. I have similar but different one on my 2011 Fat boy Lo and it is just perfect and easy to install on a EVO or fuel injected model from HD.Other thing I did figure out there no gasket or mounting bracket provide in this package or kit. I have a machine shop, I can modify it to fit my S&S carb on my old bitch (78 XLCR) make a gasket and a support bracket but most of you may have to get some weird stuff or damaged the carb mounting bracket. Be careful before you get in trouble.160$ for an air intake with K&N filter and most of what you need to make it work worth every penny you spend. I don't know about the neat 10hp and the rest of the selling baloney but I add one of those baby on my new bike and modify the pipe add new chip set and it is just flying in style. For some reason I Love the look it's remind me the old Charger with the air intake pass the hood with the compressor and it just mean business LMAO... Cool factor is unbelievable and the bang for the buck is there in my cheap ass book. Do your homework, go to the manufacturer site and figure if it fit your ride and / or if others corposants are needed. And even so if it is the best model for your bike. I paid near 300$ for the one on the 2011 Fat Boy Lo and it was flaw-less and everything was there and then some. This one I need to machine the port, mounting holes path, weld miss placed vent hole and make a gasket. But that what a chopper is all about, thing can't just screw on, you have to screw with it... That is thanks to Kuryakyn to make me believe this intake would fit an S&S carb =) I can't wait to fire-it up... I know it's odd to have hi performance part in to an old school bitch but it not what a chopper is, an odd thing no matter what??? As long as it drag your butt and have a kick out of it??? Anyway it is cool and go ride and stop reading my French baloney...
