Bought this to fix air hoses in the auto shop I work at. It is a great heavy duty tool and a must have to appropriately fix hose ends. The last shop I worked at had one just like it and the other day a guy came to fix one of our hoist and he too had one. His was older and well used but still worked great. Since all of our air hose is exactly the same size we cut off a piece and sent it to NAPA and they set us up with the correct size ferrules. Using the right size pieces is critical to make the proper repairs.
