4Detailed Review!
By Frostfyre
Long ago, I bought two of these cards over time to run in SLI, off of Newegg's website. Now for the ups and downs!First off, even one of these cards is a screaming beast of a video card. I was able to run most games at the time at maximum settings (In 2009) with nearly no slowdown or clipping. I absolutely loved the card so much that I bought a second one to run in SLI. I was absolutely ecstatic at the performance and value that these cards provided. But a year later, things took a dark turn...Both of the cards began acting strangely and sometimes I could get no video out of either of them. Eventually, over time, both cards went kaput. Cause of death? A well known flaw with the card: Inadequate cooling. You see, BFG created a monster of a video card without a proper cooler. The flimsy small cooling fan just wasn't enough to keep itself stable under air cooling. No problem at the time though, because BFG's "no questions asked" return/replace policy was honored under their lifetime warranty. Sure enough, I sent them off for replacement after a quick and speedy RMA process. 3 days out, the cards were received and in less than 24 hours I woke up to the UPS guy knocking on my door, holding two brand new cards! Huzzah! I popped the cards back in, and another year of lag/slowdown-free gaming began.A year later, fate reared it's ugly head and these cards began to follow the path of the first set. One day I flipped my gaming rig on...but no video. A sad tear fell from my eye as I realized they had met the same fate as the first. Sure enough, upon removing them, I discovered the heatsink's plastic casing had melted on both and they had both gone to that digital cloud in the sky. (Yes, I had a proper cooling system installed, before you ask.) But, "No worries!" I thought to myself and simply picked up the phone to call BFG again. Only this time, the number was out of service. "Strange...", I thought to myself, but a few quick Googles later, I discovered the company had gone out of business and liquidated it's assets. Out of business, and a few phone calls later, I discovered my lifetime warranty only extended to the life of the COMPANY and not the physical hardware. The company that had bought BFG would not honor the warranty and thus, I was stuck with two very large and expensive paperweights. The cards sat in my storage drawer for the longest time, as I didn't have the heart to throw them away since they had been so good to me, but recently I found it in my soul to give them a proper cremation with an acetylene torch. Hot they ran, hot they shall be in their final moments. Rest in peace little cards. May your offspring provide many a wonderful year of gaming to others.Final thoughts? BUY THIS CARD. But...remove and replace the cooler if you want this thing to last. You won't regret it if you do. :-)

5Quite capable Vidcard
By Wally Gator / Lagarto Juancho
This card has excellent performance. What surprised me is that it can handle Oblivion with all the bells and whistles and still managed to get a decent framerate. I highly recommend this one.

5Not bad
By Michael Metzger
I suppose I build computers more then the average joe. And as far as video card upgrades go, at the time this was a fantastic card at a great price. Drivers work flawlessly with most games. Havnt had any issues with heat at all. Great card, constant Nvidia fan because of it.
