I have owned countless curling irons over the years and was never truly satisfied with the results until the salon I used brought in the larger barrel Rusk irons. You can create perfect "natural waves" and larger, more realistic soft curls. The length of the rod created longer curls/waves versus my more expensive Baby Bliss. About.com rates it the curling iron that will last a lifetime [...] The ceramic rod is gentler and causes less hair breakage. It heats up very quickly. It is a good buy, especially under $100.

Love it. Curls lasts all day. heats up fast. Use on small sections at a time using on large sections will only give short live curls.

This is exactly what I was looking for ... great curling iron and I can set my own heat setting. I hate burning my hair so I leave it on 300 and it doesn't damage my hair. However, I haven't had it very long and I can hear it "squeaking" already when I curl my hair.
