I drink probably 5-8 cups of hot tea each day. Throughout the day. I was given a box of this stuff and I thought it was delicious, unique and want more. I came to Amazon looking to see if they had it and this is the exact brand I have been drinking. I really do enjoy it. Normally I drink Green Tea's from Japan, or Macha, and in the morning I usually do Bergamot, or Earl Grey. This tea has been pleasant in the mornings, afternoon and evening. I'm buying more now, so I thought I would review it.

Great roasted tea, very rich flavor and awesome aroma. I use close to boiling water when I brew this tea and I really enjoy how the Hojicha develops as it steeps. Outstanding flavor. Price is absurd, the cost of this tea is ridiculous. I saw it on sale at the grocery store for 5.99 per box of 15 just days after receiving/opening from Amazon. Not sure why it is more than double that price online.I have had this tea many times at a local bake shop, and many times I have paid a hefty price to drink it. In an effort to save some money I tried ordering this on Amazon from the seller PTOMart. The product shipped quickly and in a few days I had the tea I'd been waiting for. The only problem was that every cup from this package I have made so far has been flat. No strong roasted flavor, it basically tastes watered down and flavorless even after allowing extra steeping time than normal. Usually it has a great smell and deep rich flavor and color. Im wondering whether or not the seller has had this tea sitting around for a while before it gets shipped out. Day after day of disappointment from the lacking flavor, color, and aroma inspired me to purchase again from the local bake shop where I was once again floored by how great this tea tastes.Be careful who you order this tea from. When it is fresh, it is unstoppable.
