The Pieces Don't All Fit Together
By VM
This 3-Pack comes with 3 trench pieces w/ grate coverings, an end cap, and an end cap with drain hole cutout. The problem I had is that the trench pieces are identical, i.e. all with one "male end" and one "female end". If you intend to use all three pieces connected together to make a 10' trench drain, the result after connecting the three trench pieces is a 10' long piece with one male end and one female end. Unfortunately the two end caps will only fit on the female end of one of the trenches. Long story short, you are forced to cut an end of one of the trenches and glue an end cap to it. Had someone from Fernco quality control actually tried to connect all the pieces together, the problem would have been obvious. If you needed something shorter than 10' and had to cut a trench piece anyway, then this problem goes away, as the instructions do mention that the trench drain pieces can be cut. Simply based on having to make this cut, I gave the product 3 stars.

Fernco Storm Drain
By William Emmerich
The price seems high for what is essentially several pieces of injection moulded plastic. But the Amazon price was about 30% less than Lowe's or Home Depot. The installation was easy once I rented a diamond saw to cut the existing black-top driveway. The plastic channel appears to have no problem with the weight of my car. Definitely solved my water problem in the garage.

drainage improvement
By tclemons
We installed this product between an existing concrete slab and a new one we were putting in and needed the area to drain better. This has done a great job, was easy to install and looks good. The area we used it sees a lot of traffic over it and this has held up well.
