Pipe sections combine corrosion-resistant stainless steel and sturdy galvanized steel for strong chimney construction. Lightweight pipe with snap-lock joints offers faster, easier installations. Features a space-age refactory blanket between the stainless steel/galvanized walls to withstand intermitten temperatures up to 2100 degrees F. as called for in UL 103 HT Standard. Requires 2" air space to combustibles.

This is nice stove pipe. It installed pretty well. I needed a part (8hs-fsa fire shield) to go thou a floor.Ace could not get me one; would not really try; was not the slightest bit interested in helping me. What Support. I called american metal a few times. Demanded a manager; they referred me to a number 1-800-669-3190 who answer the phone with the generic message "technical support" . They sold me the Fire Shield no issue and I'm installed and running.The pipe stays cool enough to touch on the outer wall (most of the time).
