I was disappointed that it was not as good as the old one because the connection between the motor and the juicer was not tight and leaks more.Also the tamper is a little too short so you can't get the food all the way into the blades.

It doesn't have any flash, like shiney finishes or infomercials pedaling it's sale. I went to hardware store and got 1/4 in. rubber sheet cut to size, and placed it under juicer. Champion juicer's motor is solid block of power. I can push through carrots without cutting them up. Juicers like Breville at $200 only have 1 year warranty and Asian import. I'm going on 4 years with my Champion juicer and haven't a need to replace parts or service calls. After, 6 months I bought a second one for a family member, no problems there either. The Juicer Made in California, motor is American made by General Electric. The stand is metal. The t-shaped attachment is plastic and removeable for cleaning. I lubricate shaft with vegetable or olive oil after every clean up.

This little juicer is a powerhouse. It cleans easily and can grind grains into flour to juicing fruit. Well worth the investment
