These boots are absolutely wonderful. They are very light weight compared to my other hunting boots and very comfortable being the width that is perfect for me. It is so hard to find boots and shoes that are wide enough to not cramp the toes. I could walk all day in these and plan a trip to Colorado next fall to hunt where I will end up walking quite a bit. I had total knee replacement this last summer and am really using these boots now for deer hunting since I can hike and walk without pain in my knees.

Very lightweight and comfortable. I've used mine (version II) for 3 hunting seasons. So far they've held up well. Color is fading and so forth, but they're still quite waterproof. Tremendously comfortable, right out of the box. My one issue, and it's a big one, is their inability to shed snow from the treads. Something about the compound makes snow build up on the sole until you're walking on these softball sized chunks of ice. In warmer snow weather (35-20F) it's almost unbearable to wear them for walking. In colder snow weather (20F and under) it's not quite as bad but still tremendously annoying. Every 10-15 steps you have to knock the snowball off your sole. I've tried spraying them with vegetable oil, silicone spray, WD-40.... anything to try to get them to stop sticking. This is not the best idea for deer hunting as the deer have an aversion to the smell of WD-40. SO, for use in the fall, prior to snow, these boots are very nice. Anyplace where snow and ice are not common. But for snow weather, you definitely should look elsewhere.
