Got this setup for my sailboat to use as a "NO WAKE A$$HOLE" attention getter while docked at marina (a real problem at my marina). Bottom line, it works well for this purpose. I am now known as "the horn guy" at the marina. Everyone loves it...well most everyone, it can be very obnoxious! I rarely use the included compressor. You can get equal results by simply blowing into the air tube. Compressor is nice for those oblivious, clueless, inconsiderate power boaters who only slow down after about 15 to 20 seconds of continuous horn action. That would be too much for my lungs! Another great way to sound the horn is by attaching it to the foot pump for my inflatable dinghy. You will get nice long deafening bursts with each pump. Keep in mind it is about 18"+ long by about 14" wide...kind of large so I prefer not to mount it permanently (plus I like to take it with me from boat to boat). Also, when mounted or stored, keep horns pointed down so water drains out. Mine got water in it while stored with horns up and I had to disassemble each horn and dry out. Not a big deal and easy to do, but something to consider. Everyone that has seen or heard it wants one, it's well built, loud, easy to use, has held up to salt water spray, therefore I would recommend it.

Great sound, great looks, but you pay for it. The horn is all metal and the compressor is light and compact. Love it! sounds like a train horn, only slightly less loud!
