I had actually purchased this unit from another site, but after a month, they still never sent it. I was looking around and found it at Amazon for even less than what I paid the 1st time. I purchased this for my son, as a soft toss machine, all the models not a pitching machine feeder. All of the numbers and model numbers get confusing so I call ATEC directed and talked with someone in customer service, he informed me that all models work as a soft toss machine, the difference is in the additional hardware that they would supply to feed a certain pitching machine. That being said, I opted for the cheapest unit as they are all basically the same. This unit works very well on baseballs as a soft toss machine, only so-so for soft toss on soft balls. Amazon, not only ended up with the cheapest price, but delivery as promised. Great buy, I would recommend to anyone.
