Now, to start off I got this item when it was 60% off which was a major selling point for me. I was a little apprehensive. I was torn between the icemats or this. I'm really glad I got this however.The thing I like most about it is it's amazing sound quality. I am often tricked while gaming into thinking the sounds I hear from the headphones are actually coming from my room. The headset is unbelievably comfortable. Often times I wear it for hours at a time and forget I even have them on. The microphone is another main reason I bought this item. I play with a group of friends when gaming and we all like to talk to each other through vent. There is nothing more annoying than a distorted voice or noise. I'm always being commented on how clear I sound. The ability to take it apart into 3 pieces seems to have payed off while traveling. It ensures me that they won't snap in half or anything like that. The ability to hide the microphone is great as well. I don't like detached microphones so i wanted a headset with one built in and when I'm not using it to talk to anybody I can just hide it and it's virtually invisible.My least favorite thing about this headset is that everyone around me can hear what I'm listening to. This only tends to happen when I'm blasting noise into my head though. It's not that big of a deal however because I don't turn it up that loud often anyway. In case you were wondering it doesn't create an echo through the microphone.Overall I give this thing a 5/5 with only one flaw that I have noticed. Great quality sound, very comfortable, and a great quality microphone. If you're wondering if you should buy these I would definitely recommend it.

Basically i have owned these and the icemat siberias, and between the two i would have to say that the siberias provide a much crisper sound and are more comfortable. However, this should not be taken in the sense that the SteelSound 5H V2's arent a good product, because they are. They just need a little bit better sound, as far as comfort goes i can wear them all night, the only reason i say the siberias are more comfortable is that the design of them is just more creative and basically cradles over your ears making an almost perfect fit. Comparing any headphone under 100 dollars to the siberias is extremely difficult because of how great they are. Now that being said, im kinda clumsy around my work/play area and broke my siberias within 6 months of having them because the design is extremely fragile, where as the SteelSound can be taken down into like 4 or 5 different parts and have been dropped already like 5 or 6 times with no damage what so ever, again the siberias are probably the best headphones on the smaller side of 100 dollars however if your like me you will break the small plastic pieces fairly quickly, so anyways the 5H's are great and provide for a great gaming experience, and can be traveled with and worn for extended periods of time with no problems.

I had the first version of these for almost a year before the microphone broke and was no longer functional as a headset either because it was picking up noise from the broken microphone. However, these are by far the best gaming headset i have ever worn, or purchased. The comfort is second to none. And the crisp clear sound that they had to offer was unimaginable. The first time i wore these i was shocked to actually be able to hear as well as i could while playing my favorite FPS. And for the people comparing these to Icemat Siberia's don't listen to a word they say. I have owned both pair of headsets. And these are by far the more superior product. The bass response is undeniable, and the range at which you can hear footsteps is almost twice as far away. Hands down buy these, you will not be disappointed in the least bit. I promise.
