Good Quality and Lots of Features
By Chris T. Fuller
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R17BRV2ED19B10 I liked this model so much that I had to create a quick video of it's features. Thanks to Amazon, when I ordered and received the 650 model, I wasn't satisfied with it and sent it back without any problems. I then ordered the 800 series and loved it. Had I seen up close the features, I would have purchased this model the first time around.

Excellent Recreational Board Near Bar Quality
By Luke K.
General:Overall this is an excellent board, and I believe an excellent value, even at this price. The board plays very similar to a bar board at a fraction of the price. It is not without its issues, but those are outweighed by its benefits.Pros:-Excellent playablility-Multitude of games-X/O feature very nice and readable from a distance-Few bounce-outs-Sound effects announce number and score-Solid construction-Easy InstallationCons:-Darts that come with the board are junk. You must buy your own, unless you love chasing flights after each throw. At this price point, you probably own your own darts anyways.-Bulls-eye malfunction: About once every 5 games, you will hit very close to the bulls-eye on say a 15, and it will score as a bulls-eye. The "bounce out" button allows for correction.-Although the X/O display is lit, the numbers the X/O's correspond to just above it are not. So, from the throw line, you can barely see what numbers you need unless you memorize the X/O numbers. Basically before each throw you say I need 1 more of the second number from the left.-CPU Vs. mode is useless. The CPU throws dreadfully slow, and even in novice mode(easiest) typically throws will be triple 20, triple 17 and double bulls-eye. Unless you are near pro, just play by yourself.Even with the list of cons, this is still a 5 star board. I know it is expensive, but when you see that the playability is similar to a bar board at $3000-$4000, $250 seems like a steal. Just remember this is a recreational board, and it is not without minor issues.Thoroughly pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended!

I know these boards
By A. J. Mccain
I'm a local player in bars and occasionally go play in regional tournaments so I've been around the block a few times. I have been playing with the Arachnid home boards for several years now and hear is my observations.Pros:Looks like the boards I play in tournaments. Regulation Face with common color schemes. It has most of the games I play in the bars. (Cricket, 501, Bermuda Triangle, etc.)It's easy to use.The 800 has the traditional scoring display (/, X, O) for cricket.Voice calls out what you just hit.The computer player can give me quite a battle on the harder settings. :)Cons:They break pretty easy. I'm on my 4th one. I've had a 650, 750, and 800 (This board). The segments tend to go dead with heavy use. I currently own a 750 which I find best because...The Heckler has to be turned off on the 800 each time you start up. Quite annoying for the avid dart player.Noisy when dart impacts the board. (This is common to most home boards.)The computer player can give me quite a battle on the easier settings. :(Bottom Line:Despite having to buy a new board every couple of years, it's still the best home dart board to prep for playing in tournaments. It just feels to me more like them. If your a beginner and the want the bells and whistles, go with the 800. If don't want to hear the heckler every time you forget to turn it off, go with with the 750. It's a little cheaper and just as good.Happy darting!
