This stand offers the ability to easily place your center channel on the top shelf, because it is adjustable. Most other stands cannot fit any sizable center channel. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this stand and would recommend it to anyone needing larger storage.

Took about an extra week to get the shipment since the first one was damaged. The second one was intact but was missing some pieces. Very helpful customer service sent the replacement parts, creating yet another delay. Overall, very good. Easy assembly.

We looked at several stands that would support a 55 inch LCD TV with a 17" diameter base and this was one of the more appealing ones that didn't look too traditional like a piece of Grandma's furniture or something too contemporary like something out of the Jetsons. As others I think have pointed out, the box was damaged when we received it and upon opening the box, we were missing 4 of the six glides and one of the cable duct inserts. Other than that nothing else was missing, and there was no major damage to any of the pieces except a nick on the bottom of the unit (which didn't matter) and one of the front panel corners which you could see after assembly. The unit could be better packed to more effectively protect the pieces, but we lucked out, and for the small amount of damage to the front panel, it was not enough to go through the hassle of returning it.The unit went together very easily and thanks to some of the other reviews we were carefull not to damage the cams and connector rods - they don't need a lot of force to firmly attach the pieces.The assembly was very easy, and the only hard part - if you even want to call it that - was installing the steel bracket to support the front portion of the top shelf (you can go to the Sanus website and download the assembly instructions to see what's involved). There were not any pre-drilled holes in the front MDF rail to attach the bracket to, but that was not a big issue at all. Assembly could be done by one person, but it is easier with two people.The shelf looks really nice and provides good storage. The plastic cable duct inserts, in my opinion, are too small and don't accommodate large electrical plugs or many cables, but that is fixed by not using the inserts and just feeding the cables through the large holes in the back of the unit. All in all, a very nice stand, very sturdy and looks nice.
