I purchased 2 for my kitchen island, and they look great. One of the stools that I have received at first had a crooked screw hole, but Amazon replaced it immediately after I submitted the request, and the replacement item didn't have this problem. The stools are easy to put together, very sturdy, and look great, especially for the price.

I love the counter stools. I saw them in a specialty catalog for $259 each! These were a bargain. They are elegant, and drastically different from your run-of-the-mill counter stool.

This is a gorgeous counter stool - I shopped a long time before finding just what I wanted. It is sturdy, easy-to-assemble and the seat is both comfortable and easy-to-clean. The only major defect I see is that there are no leveling screws on the legs. This isn't important if you have hardwood floors or very flat surfaces but in a place with custom slate tiles that while beautiful, are not perfectly level, it leaves things off-balance. I really wish that there were a way to pop screw-out leveling feet in there. This was a big disappointment in an otherwise perfect stool. I will be calling the company to see if they have any suggestions.
